A head start to UC

High school seniors can start now on their applications to the nine University of California campuses that accept undergraduates.

The official period to file UC applications for fall 2009 admission runs from Nov. 1 to the final deadline on Nov. 30.  However, UC officials have announced that potential applicants can explore the online process now and even start filling out the application at their own pace. Prospective freshmen and transfer students can save their entries and return to the application many times before actually filing.

Students can apply to as many of the UC campuses as they want through the single application process, although there is a $60 fee for each campus.  For low-income students, UC will waive those fees for up to four campuses. There's more information here.
