Funeral set for English teacher

Sophy Cohen, a student at Santa Monica High School who wrote a tribute to her English teacher, adds this information:

Mr. Lutz was very close to his family, including his sister, Shira Lutz, whom I didn't not include in my condolences. My apologies.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Hillside Memorial Park, 6001 Centinela Ave. in Los Angeles.
