Scandal growing
The LAUSD's decision to place an administrator at a school after he had been accused of sexual misconduct with another student is turning into a huge black eye for the district. It prompted a mea culpa by the superintendent. Reports Howard Blume and Molly Hennessy-Fiske:
Saying he hadn't "slept well in days," Los Angeles schools Supt. David L. Brewer told parents at Markham Middle School on Thursday that he is investigating "how a policy and system we have in place failed" when an administrator previously investigated for allegedly having sex with a Foshay Learning Center student was transferred to Markham.

This should fall on Carol Truscott, Superintendent local district 7. She is the one who approves the transfers and if she did not know about his record what is she doing. The ignoring of peoples deed because of the area the work with or the kids the work with has to stop. Someone need to be fired.
