Outside of his alma mater, Theodore Roosevelt High School, L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa announced that step-by-step, multilingual assistance will be available at 35 Cash for College workshops across the city Saturday and at dozens more over the next month.
Students who attend the workshops can win scholarships; 550 worth $1,000 each will be offered statewide.
Workshop locations, as well as FAFSA and Cal Grant GPA-verification forms can be found at Cash for College or California Grants, or by calling (888) CA-GRANT.
