Know a great preschool teacher?
Los Angeles Universal Preschool is accepting nominations of preschool educators throughout L.A. County, to be considered for a Preschool Teacher of the Year award.
The deadline is March 3.
The award will go to five outstanding educators. Candidates may be nominated by anyone associated with the nominee’s preschool. LAUP says the winners will have shown a strong commitment to a high-quality preschool education and dedication to making a positive contribution to the children they serve.
Although sponsored by LAUP, the award is open to all candidates. To get a nomination form and see the guidelines, visit www.laup.net.
One award recipient will be selected for each Los Angeles County supervisorial district. Winners will be notified April 1.
Los Angeles Universal Preschool is an independent, public benefit corporation dedicated to making voluntary, high-quality preschool available to every 4-year-old in Los Angeles County.
