Studying environment
Four California teachers are going to Costa Rica next month, joining teachers from around the country to consider innovative ways to teach their students about the environment.
The four are:
Gregory Fisher, who teaches at the California Academy of Math and Science in Carson
Manuel Lopez, who teaches at Everett Alvarez High School in Salinas
Susan Mitchell, who teaches at Jefferson Middle School in Oceanside
and Carissa Smith, who teaches at Washington Middle School in La Habra.
The trip is funded through a grant from Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. and administered by the Institute of International Education in Washington, D.C.
