Report: Morgan Freeman allegedly had affair with step-granddaughter E'Dena Hines

ActorMorg_Gregg_15910208_600 Morgan Freeman, 72, and his wife of 25 years, Myrna Colley-Lee are in the middle of a bitter divorce. And reports are starting to emerge on the Web of an alleged decade-long affair with ... his step-granddaughter.

E'Dena HInes is the granddaughter of Morgan's first wife, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw, but was raised by Morgan and Myrna.

"Myrna said E'dena told her that when she was a teenager, she and Morgan went to dinner at a friend's house one evening. Both had been drinking and when they returned home Morgan attempted to have sex with her. They stopped just short of having intercourse," a close family insider told The Enquirer.

Myrna confronted Morgan about the incident, but the undercover relationship continued and escalated.

E'Dena has been Morgan's escort to several Hollywood events, including the premiere of “The Dark Knight.”

Freeman's rep has no comment, e-mailing us: "No comment on anything in The Enquirer."

Does this remind anyone else of that creepy Woody Allen-Soon Yi affair?

Demaris Meyer: Morgan Freeman drank a lot before crash

Morganfreeman Demaris Meyer, the woman who was riding in the car actor Morgan Freeman crashed last year, tells the press that the actor had been drinking a lot that night, according to TMZ.

But she’s not his mistress. Although she might have been on her way to filling that position.

At a news conference Wednesday, Meyer told reporters that when she met him that night at dinner, she saw that "throughout the course of dinner and afterward drinks were consumed by Freeman."

She later met up with him at a friend’s home, where he "had at least one more drink." So of course, why not hop in the car with a clearly inebriated celebrity?

She says it was only after being offered a place to stay -- at his home, or rather, the guest house -- that she got in the car with him. Oh yeah, we've all heard that old saw.

But then, darn it, Morgan lost control of the car and crashed around 11:30 p.m.

Meyer says she got a broken wrist, scapula, a torn labrum (what on earth is that?) and cuts and bruises.

She's suing Morgan for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, permanent disability for short-term memory loss and damages. Oh, and short-term memory loss.

Poor Morgan. He certainly didn’t get very lucky that night, did he?

Was Demaris Meyer the mistress of Morgan Freeman? Find out today!

Morganfree_cohen_12116282_600_1_2 Demaris Meyer, the woman in the passenger seat when Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman crashed a car in August 2008, is suing the actor and going public about their relationship.

Gulp. According to TMZ, she's finally going to reveal today whether she is -- or was --  his mistress.

Demaris Meyer will hold a press conference today to announce whether she was the "other woman" in an intimate relationship with then-married actor Freeman when she was seriously injured as he was driving her car late at night.

In the press release issued by headline-grabbing attorney Gloria Allred, there will be "graphic and disturbing photos of the car in which the actor and the woman were riding" at the press conference.

Oh, we can't wait for the graphic photos and the big reveal!

Morganfree_cohen_12116282_600_1

The "Dark Knight" curse continues.

First, he was in a car crash, breaking his arm and elbow, with a female friend of the family in the car with him.

Now Morgan Freeman, 71, is divorcing his wife of 24 years.

According to the New York Daily News, Morgan's business partner told "Access Hollywood" that Morgan and his wife, Myrna Colley-Lee, are "involved in a divorce action."

This news is strangely timed, broken just days after Freeman had a car accident, and the passenger in the late-night crash in Mississippi was Demaris Meyer, 48, a longtime friend of Morgan's wife.

Freeman is due to be released from a Memphis, Tenn., hospital in a few days and has had surgeries to repair his arm and elbow.

Well, sometimes it takes a brush with mortality to make a person take action and make a change in their life. But it sounds as if this might have been in the works before the accident.

Or maybe it was just the last straw.

According to a close friend of the actor, "Morgan has always liked the ladies."

What do you think?

Good luck to Morgan and Myrna. Hope you guys get can through this with dignity, respect and love.

"He broke his shoulder and arm, but he's doing OK. He's already laughing and joking around with the nurses."

Freeman was involved in a serious car accident around 11:30 Sunday night, just north of Ruleville, Miss. He was airlifted from the crash scene to a hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

He and his wife, Myrna, live near Charleston, Miss., on a 126-acre ranch with a main house, peach trees and horse stables.

Heath Ledger, Christian Bale, now Morgan Freeman: The 'Dark Knight' curse?

Heathledger4_2Christianbale4Morganfreeman4

Heath Ledger died of an overdose of sleeping medications and painkillers in January after wrapping filming on "The Dark Knight." He had had trouble sleeping and his disturbing role as the psychopathic "Joker" was hard to shake, the actor told the press.

Batman/Bruce Wayne actor Christian Bale's mother and sister filed a complaint with local police in London alleging the actor had assaulted them the day before the big "Dark Knight" premiere there.

Now Morgan Freeman, a third "Knight" star, has been in a one-car accident in Mississippi and has been airlifted to a hospital in Tennessee.

Creepy.

Is there a "Dark Knight" curse? Or is this just all just a series of very sad — and very eerie — coincidences?

'Dark Knight' star Morgan Freeman injured in Mississippi car crash

MorganfreemanOscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman has been injured in what was called a "serious car accident" in Mississippi last night.

TMZ is reporting that the "Dark Knight" star, and Hollywood's favorite voice of God, was in a car accident around 11:30 Sunday night, just north of Ruleville, Miss.

Freeman was airlifted from the crash scene to a hospital in Memphis, Tenn. The news of the wreck was initially reported by MediaTakeout.

Freeman's condition is unknown. State troopers told reporters that the actor was talking before he was taken to the hospital.

An unidentified female passenger was also in the car. Her condition is not known.

Even though he's a hot property in Hollywood, Freeman still calls Mississippi home.

He and his wife, Myrna, live near Charleston, Miss., on a 126-acre ranch with a main house, peach trees and horse stables.

Freeman built the ranch on the same land his grandparents worked, which is where he spent much of his childhood.

Fingers crossed this iconic actor and his passenger will be OK. More news as it develops.
