Report: Jett Travolta's autopsy results may not be released
Now comes word via TMZ that Jett Travolta's autopsy results will probably not be released by the Travolta family.
According to the Bahamian Minister of Health, Dr. Hubert Minnis, Anna Nicole Smith's former obstetrician (anyone hearing alarms going off?) has decided to use a second specialist to guarantee a good assessment of what might have caused Jett's death. (BTW, Anna Nicole Smith's son Daniel died while visiting her Bahamas hospital room and she's buried next to him on the island.)
As far as Jett's autopsy being released to the public, it's totally up to the family. They are the only ones with the authority to release the results.
Of course, speculation is running rampant in the blogosphere over the sad, sad news of Jett's untimely death. I spoke off the record with a Hollywood industry insider who has known John Travolta for more than a decade. She told me that John's son Jett weighed about 250 pounds and stood around 6 feet 2 inches tall.
So, my question: Wouldn't a fall by a person of this size be loud enough to hear inside the house instantly? (Even if the other people - nannies, etc - were sleeping.)
Also, this Travolta friend I spoke with has never ever heard John use the the word "Kawasaki" to describe Jett's condition.

It has been well known for years that Jet had Kawasaki's. It was covered on Larry King several years ago.
Do your homework, just because you're a blogger doesn't allow you to be sloppy. ;-)

For God's sake, why don't you just leave this family alone and quit trying to twist this tragedy into something sinister. Just because he was a large person doesn't mean he fell over like a tree with enough force to be heard all over the house. Perhaps he "collapsed", or even tried to sit if he felt a seizure coming on. You people and your negative theorizing are disgusting.

You missed out on the last developments. We now know Jett Travolta was taking a drug called Depakote, a strong anti-seizure medication. There have been reports Travolta refused to give his son anti-seizure meds because of Scientology but those stories are not true.

Further the death cert said "seizure" as the cause of death.

And lastly, here is what the scientologists have to say:

Didn't Anna Nicole Smith die in a hotel room in the Seminole Hard Rock Casino (Florida)?

Dear Sir:
Please do not be so inconsiderate in times of tragedy. Epilepsy is not a joke or something to blame anyone for. Your question is stupid. You have obviously never lived with someone with this condition.
I suggest you contribute some money to the American Epilepsy Association.
My condolences to the Trravolta family. They are in our prayers.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Travolta Family. There is nothing anyone can say to stop the pain. I understand that they are a family in the public eye, but we should leave them to mourn their loss as any family should be able to.

Media and internet tabloids should leave John Travolta alone. He and his family already suffered enough. Some people try to demonize Travolta and his wife. It's cruel and brutal.Bereaved parents don't deserve that.

This is a tragic loss for the Travolta family. My heart goes out to them. They are living a nightmare right now, yet they are a part of our families, too. It hurts all of us. I hope that when things settle that the family may be kind enough to share what happened to the son they loved so much and that they will be advocates for those with epilepsy.

I suspect he drowned in the bathtub after suffering an epileptic seizure.

I think it is very sad that anyone would believe a parent would deny a child proper treatment for any kind of illness, these parents from what I have read loved this boy beyond anyone could imagine and would have done anything to help him live a healthy life. If you really want to be angry and make harsh judgment on someone you should direct it towards someone who is deserving of it,Cassie Anthony! Leave the Travolta family alone!!

Does nobody see the strange coincidence between this tragedy and the death of Daniel Smith last year on the island? Of course one most likely has nothing to do with the other but I think it would make people think twice about taking their children for a vacation in the Bahamas. Its the first thing I thought - "I'm never taking my kids there". My little brother had epilepsy. He had a seizier in his sleep and died. You can't watch a child 24 hours a day. John & Kelly are experiencing something no parent should have to. Time will ease the pain but it will never go away. Its been 19 years since my brother died. He was 2 years old. He was like my baby. I still cry. I wish strength for John & Kelly and prayers that they lean on each other during this time and not turn against each other. That this tragedy doesn't tear them apart. They are both hurting but nothing in the world compares to a Mother's love.

Daniel Smith died in September 2006 not 2007.He was a drug addict just like his mother. He was in rehab center before he died.Larry Birkhead said in his testimony that Anna gave drugs to her own son!

To those of you looking for continued drama about this event - ask yourself this: Does it really matter? John loved his son and did what he felt was best for him. That's entirely a parent's prerogative. Whether or not his beliefs impacted the turn of events one way or the other is completely irrelevant. More people have died in the name of religion than for any other reason on this planet, but I don't hold YOU responsible for promulgating your beliefs to your family, even if I'm 100% agnostic. If John was responsible for negatively impacting his son because of his family's beliefs, then society should hold the Church of Scientology responsible, not a single man in pursuit of his son's best interests.
In other words, IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. Stop trying to find fault in this and except the known, established facts that John's son died in an accident that may have been caused as a result of his disease - PERIOD.

Jett may have been diagnosed with Kawasaki as a child, and I do believe he did have that from the stories that John and Kelly told many years ago as to what happened to him in the hospital as a toddler. However, Kawaski DOES NOT cause seizures. That is a medical fact. And watching any video of Jett, even as recent as the Paris video, he clearly had mental disabilities and most likely was autistic. 16 year olds do not need help being put into a van and strapped in. Autism can and does cause seizures. Autism and mental diseases is something that Scientologists do not believe in. Jett had been on anti seizure medications but they became ineffective and he was taken off of them.

This family deserves their privacy.
I suspect no one heard him because where they were staying was a large facility and no one happened to be close by at the time.
I don't blame them for not releasing the autopsy results. Why would that be any of OUR business?

The real tragedy here is the Travoltas didn't love their child unconditionally. They were in denial about his condition and ashamed of Jett's autism.
While the Travolta's would never purposely bring harm to their child, it's pretty obvious their thoughts of what was proper care were misguided at best.
Kudos to the Bahamas for not buying into the Hollywood hype and conducting a thorough investigation.

Jett Travolta was autistic. The Travoltas denied this to conform to their "religion." Jett didn't have to die: he could have been correctly medicated, but the Church of $cientology doesn't believe in that. I am so sorry for the Travoltas, but their church conformity killed their son. Period.

ESNEAD & TMZ are bottom feeders serving bottom feeders. Hopefully, one of the things Obama will do is set an open season on vermin so the rest of us can begin to have fun with them.

My heart goes out to the Travolta family. My son too suffers from epilepsy and you live every day wondering about the really bad fall. Theres no way to see it coming. No one is at fault here and those that don't understand that are not informed at all.

What difference does it make !!!! This is so not anyone's business to comment so harshly on!! The death of a child is so hard for any family to deal with. Why does the press constantly speculate negligence anytime that there is a death associated with a celebrity family!!! What is wrong with this world!!! Bad things happen every day to every day families. Yes, they are very unfortunate! The press is so incredibly UGLY!!!! Leave Jett and the Travolta's in peace!!!!

My deepest sympathies and heartfelt sorrow go to John and Kelly at this time. I lost my son aged 12 in 2002 to a sudden asthma attack it was all over in half an hour and the paramedics and doctors tried everthing but he never came round. What they need is family and loved ones at this time around them nothing will help to reduce the pain but time and love. What they don't need is media intrusion and speculation. I wish them the Lords love and peace they will get through it but will never be the same people again. In my experience your life stops and a new one without your child begins you have to reinvent yourself to survive but survive they will. Once again my personal deepest sorrow at their loss

It's all the chemicals in our food and pollution we humans put into our environment everyday!! It's a known fact that food is the cause of autism anyway. Any way if you are a Christian, your lifes journey is paved the second you are born.

Jett's doctors may have temporarily taken him off his meds. They do this sometimes when a drug stops working. Then they
restart it again later and it usually starts working again for the patient. I'm sure Scientology had nothing to do with this and the parents were not negligent in their care of their child.

john should keep his mouth shut instead of saying what's real for him is that---a father has to earn his son's love----where as a daughter's love "just comes" naturally. SHUT UP.
