Some of the Web is abuzz with rumors that Megan Fox — who does looks eerily like Angelina Jolie in many ways — may replace Jolie has the new Lara Croft.
There are loud and unconfirmed rumblings that 22-year-old Fox, known as one of the Most Desirable Women of 2009, could be being groomed to take over the action-babe role Angie first took on in 2001.
Nine years, one life partner and six kids can take quite a toll on a person. Megan is free from such familial responsibilities.
Besides the multiple tattoos, fabulous bods, long dark hair and luscious lips, both women have also been very open about their, ahem, lesbian sexual experiences.
What do you think? Is it time for Mama Angie to step down as Lara Croft and let someone younger take over?

no one can repalce Angelina! there is only one goddess on Lara Croft and if Angelina doesn't want to do it then the Croft movies should be dead..

I think that angelina jolie should be in the next lara croft movie insted of megan fox becuz megan has coppid angelinas tattoo on her back and megan is ugly and angelina jolie is the most beautiful wowan in the world and she plays lara croft realy well and everybody likes watching films with angelina jolie in them becuz she is beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd rather Angelina return to the role. If the series were to go on, I'd MUCH rather Megan step in as Lara's long lost sister
Angelina IS Lara Croft. No offense to Megan whatsoever - I'm a huge fan - I just couldn't stand to see someone else in the role of Lara.

I agree with everyone. Megan Fox is too into her looks and this "Most Desireable Woman of 2009" is going to her head. She would RUIN Lara Croft. Angelina is a BAD ASS and im sure she could kick Megan's ass. BAD IDEA to replace angie in Lara Croft!!!!

This is funny. Before Jolie was cast for the role, we had dweebs who could never imagine an actual human living up to the cyber/sims Lara Croft image in the games. Of course Jolie could be replaced.

I don't want to see Angleina replaced in the next movie but if they are gonna do it they should at least make Lara an actual English woman! (I'm biassed as a Brit though!)

Nothing last forever, people sometimes get tired of doing the same thing, and in the case of an actor, they get tired of doing the same roll. If Warner Brothers need a replacement to do a new Lara Croft movie, my personal choice will be Jessica Biel. She will be fantastic, just watch "Blade Trinity" with Wesley Snipes, and remember, is just a fan's opinion, Bye.

Well, Megan Fox would be a smooth transition for the series, since she looks like Angelina Jolie. But neither really look like the character Lara Croft. I think Jessica Biel(Beil?) would actually be a better fit for the role.

There's only one Angelina and one Lara Croft, any other would ruin the name and franchise in my opinion...now the long lost sister? Lol...might be a better idea for anyone else who wants to replace any part in the Lara Croft Saga, but certainly there's no replacement for Angelina's Lara...and it wouldn't be called Tomb Raider now, would it? It just wouldn't be the same!

Well, Megan Fox is gorgeous and favors Angelina, but lets be real....She's NO Angelina.....she's not that great of an actress, her boobs are way too small to fill Lara's (Angelina's) top, and I doubt she would be able to pull off an English accent with the same finess as Angelina.....So no I don't think they should replace Angelina with Megan.......a long lost sister, yea I would buy that but "the" Lara Croft absolutely NOT!

Angelina has a mature grown sexy women look and she looks very dangerous and exotic she played lara croft perfectly and her acting was great but the story line could be better . megan fox looks too much like a little girl i could see her as bat girl or supergirl she does not look exotic at all sorry but angelina should continue being lady craft

I loved the Tomb Raider movies. I'd rather Angelina play her again but i'd be happy either way as long as there is another Tomb Raider movie.

I loved watching the Transformers movie and i really thought that Megan Fox acted good, But to replace Angelina Jolie i think NOT. I really think that Laura Croft can ONLY be acted by Angelina Jolie and no one else.

Good heavens, we can clearly see the difference between the people who appreciate a good movie and the... fanboys and their fapping tendencies.
*shrug* I like Jolie as an actor, but imho, she ain't the 'be all, end all' when it comes to Lara Croft. I say, let the studios cast whoever they want and just enjoy the movie (Unless its horrifyingly bad).
Good thing money's the bottom line for said studios, not the opinion of hormones-crazed fanatics. >.>
