"13 Going on 30" star Mark Ruffalo's younger brother, Scott Ruffalo, was reportedly shot in head at his Beverly Hills condominium early Monday morning
People magazine says Scott is in very serious condition at a Los Angeles hospital.
Ruffalo's rep had no comment. There is police investigation going on.
This is so sad. And so eerily reminiscent of Jennifer Hudson's family shooting. Let's hope these terrible things don't come in threes.
According to police, the shooting took place around 2 a.m. in the building on North Palm Drive where Scott lives.
Scott, 39, is a hairdresser who has worked in Santa Monica and Beverly HIlls salons. He was born in Kenosha, Wis., before moving with his brother and their family to San Diego.
Scott Ruffalo is married to Luzelena Ruffalo and is the stepfather to her daughter, Lucinda.
Our prayers go out to Scott and his family.

Scott has been my friend and hairdresser for over twenty five years. When I was broke he would cut, color, highlight ,and blow dry my hair, buy me lunch, and give me money, That's who Scott is to me. I will pray for him, his family, and his friends at this time of need. It's funny because I call the salon today looking for him and was not told anything about it. My assistant phoned me and told me he was on the news. I would like to be near him but I understand. Scott is a giving loving person and he has my thoughts and prayers at this time.

I am so upset and sorry and my heart goes out to the Ruffalo family. I went to school with the Ruffalo's in Va. Beach and I have all of you in my prayers. From Melbourne , Florida God Bless you all Marina and Kayla Vakos

I do not know you, but I know your pain all too well. It is sad and tragic when something like this hits home and I pray that your brother has a complete recovery and that whoever is responsible for this is not only caught, but goes to prison for many years. Please know your family is in my prayers and in those of so many more. God bless.

My prayers are with you all. Was a client of Scott's at Giuseppe Franco's, along with my friend Marlene. We are devastated, what a great and lively guy.

My prayers are with you and your family. He is strong and I pray he has a complete recovery. We all went to FC in Va Beach. I was Heather Farr back then.
