Jonas brothers 'blown away' by Grammy nod. Taylor Swift, not so much

Jonas_brothers

Not only were Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas already really really nervous about last night's Grammy nomination show.

They were also late getting there! And when they arrived, they had to rush to their seats and almost instantly, their category, best new artist, was announced.

"We are just shocked and blown away," the JoBros told Ryan Seacrest this morning.

They also told Ryan that their pick for record of the year has to be Coldplay's "Viva la Vida."

Apparently, the brothers got to meet fellow Grammy nominee Chris Martin recently and told Ryan, "He's one of our heroes."

Wish Ryan had asked Joe Jonas how he felt when his clearly still annoyed ex Taylor Swift sang a truly dreadful version of Brenda Lee's classic "I'm Sorry," which sure sounded like it was aimed right at him.

But so did her own song, "White Horse."

Why does singing that song make her sit down during it every time she sings it? Dramatic effect?

We hope that Taylor got all this payback-is-a-you-know-what business with Joe over with last night. Hope it was cathartic. But let's not drag the river on that 27-second phone breakup any longer, OK, Tay?

You are always stirring this pot, LA Times, LOL.

But seriously, this Taylor Swift girl's schtick is getting TIIIIIIRED. I can barely look at or listen to her....I just don't agree with parading that sort of wimpy/whiny obsession with some poor young guy as "female empowerment"...such a bad lesson for the kids.
And it was all so preplanned!! I just hope Joe knew that....

On the other hand, the Jonas Brothers are a great fun band, yay! So happy to see them finally get a little respect.
