Sam Ronson disses PETA attack on Lindsay Lohan
Samantha Ronson is fur-ious with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
A PETA member threw a bag of flour on her girlfriend, Lindsay Lohan, this weekend in Paris, as Sam and Lindsay arrived at a nightclub, because LiLo was wearing what looked like a real black fur stole.
So Sam did what any protective lover would do. She, she ... well, she blogged about it!
"The girl who threw [the flour] acted like an animal herself," Ronson, 30, wrote on her MySpace blog. "I take that back, it's an insult to animals to group her in with them, my dog is FAR more civilized than that person."
"It's a pity that some groups feel the need to assault people as opposed to fighting with words," Ronson writes. "Whenever I feel the need to vent about something that feels unfair to me I reach for my computer, I don't run out of the house with abusive intentions. I don't expect everyone to react the same way, but I do expect people to respect each other."
Sam was so darn mad that night she actually thought about wearing fur! "I'm not about to throw on a fur coat in retaliation, but had I had one within reach, I'm not sure I would have walked away from it."
Maybe Lindsay should consider herself lucky. Back in day, PETA used to throw blood or red paint on people wearing fur.
Needless to say, it must have been scary. I mean, think about it. That flour could have been lighter fluid or acid or something.
What do you think? Was the PETA protester way out of line? Or is it important to spread the word that wearing fur is not cool? Do you wear fur? If not, why not? To see photos of the attack, click here.
More important, is it just me or are Lindsay's lips looking large and in charge? They're not just huge, they're like overnight huge.

Did Lindsay really call Barack Obama 'colored?'
Denise Richards replaces Lindsay Lohan? Ouch.
Photos: Lindsay lets her fur flop to better show off her sequin dress in Paris. But in the close-up shot, you can see the offending fur jacket more clearly. Looks like a real fur to us...

Samantha Ronson is a talentless celebrity hanger-on who latched on to Lohan for publicity.
Lindsay Lohan has proven nothing but selfish and careless. She doesn't seem to care about the horribly cruel Chinese fur industry that skins animals alive.
She probably buys things from Chinese sweatshops that use slave labor and children workers too.
And I'm sure Samantha Ronson would support that, too!

Please don't hold PETA's wrongful actions against the animals. Removing fur from animals is very cruel, especially in China. Faux fur is sometimes cat and dog fur from China but not labled so on clothing. Their methods are heartbreaking. Google this topic for more info. Please be fur-free.

I'm really tired of PETA's sanctimonious attitude about animals. Are animals supposed to be better than people? With all the human tragedy going on, should we care alot about whether a chinchilla lives or dies? PETA is concerned about fur meanwhile, Haitians are dying every month because they are so hungry they eat cookies made of dirt. I know I'm in the minority but I hope people just think about it.

I support PETA I'm a vegetarian and I truly feel for the animals that are used for fur fashions; however, I would NEVER stoop that low as to throw blood, paint, and even flour on someone who wears fur. PETA needs other kinds of people to represent them that will take these kinds of situations differently. Yelling at them calling them "fur hags" is not right either. PETA should feel embarrassed for the people who represent them. Find another way to tell people what you think of fur, and the people who wear it.

A dead animal across Lindsay Lohan's shoulder.......Ugly...Shameful...Digusting

Flour? What a small price for Ms Lohan to pay for her stupidity and cruelty, and indifference to the plight of animals.
I hoped Ms Lohan and Ms Ronson would be the new cool gay couple, but they come off more and more like two selfish idiots.

Relax people, it was flour, not battery acid or lighter fluid...it was just flour. Paint or blood could have easily ruined a fur piece but flour is....well a dust off and just go thing.
Sure it could have been one of those other items as well as napalm or radioactive fallout but it was just flour.
Bigger picture here people.
Focus on the charging Rhino.....not the mosiquito on his forehead that might have West-Nile virus.

you think she would care about animals alittle more, her mother has a house full of animals and she wouldnt wear there skin.for a young, so called hip girl she is anything but.

I don't care for Lohan, but such shenanigans give animal activists a bad name. Even if it is just dust. It's still immature. Too many people care more for animals than people. I swear this generation of children don't know what real evil is until a holocaust is slapped across their faces. Besides the news states clearly "...looked like a real black fur stole." It didn't say it was the real thing just looked like it. Boy, people don't get their facts straight anymore. Also you can take fake fur and make it look real. Clearly PETA just jump into conclusions as always. Bunch of high school drop out rejected pile of sh!t. The economy is in the toilet and all they care about is some chicken or in this case some rats. People need to set their priority straight.

PETA? Doesn't that stand for "People Eating Tasting Animals"?

What a douche.
Posted by: Del | November 17, 2008 at 09:17 PM
i think she should wear flour more often instead of fur. At least the flour will cover her ugly freckles. ..Yuck! She's covered from head to toe with freckles.

Hey you pro-Peta morons: How would you like it if there was something in YOUR life that someone else considered wrong and attacked you for it?
It could be a relationship, it could be the clothes you wear, it could be your sh-tty attitude, whatever the issue is...do you deserve for a member of the public to throw ANYTHING at you?
Who cares about the stupid "Chinese Fur Industry" other than these goofballs. Let them attack me and they better run faster than I do, because I will love nothing more than to run my fist through one of those nutjobs.

I'm amazed at people's "outrage" at Lindsey having flour thrown on her, like that compares in anyway to what she supports by wearing fur. Millions of animals are raised in cages, caught in traps, poisononed, electrocuted, beaten, and have their necks broken, for complete vanity. Having some flour thrown on a celeberity has renewed the discussion about this cruelty. She can dust herself off. The animals have no escape.

I don't know how any caring person could wear fur. Millions of fur-bearing animals -- including foxes, raccoons, minks, coyotes, bobcats, lynxes, opossums, nutria, beavers, muskrats, otters, and others -- are killed each year on fur farms by anal and vaginal electrocution and in the wild by drowning, trapping, or beating. Why would anyone think it's fashionable to be party to such cruelty?

I would have been upset if you know someone had thrown a punch....but it was just flour! Get over it.

I wonder where these peta people stand when it comes to ripping unborn HUMAN babies from their mother's womb???
...I'm sure they're cool with abortion...
I'll never have an ounce of respect for peta and such groups until I see them protest as much for a human baby as they do for a baby seal...

Making flippant comments that "those PETA people" care more about animals than humans is ignorant and irresponsible. There are excellent organizations that focus on human rights in an effort to end human suffering and of course people are more important than animals. Does this mean animal suffering should be allowed and ignored? PETA's specific mission involves ANIMAL rights, that is what they do, that is their focus and it is ALSO important. Imagine your pet dog or cat being hung by it's hind legs, smashed in the head with a bat, then having it's fur literally ripped off it's body while still alive. We don't NEED fur to keep us warm like the cavemen did, there are plenty of beautiful man-made materials that don't involved any suffering and are much less expensive. If our economy is in so much trouble and we should be more concerned about starving people, why does our country have one of the worst obesity problems in the world? Could it be because we GORGE on burgers and chicken sandwiches that are made from millions of animals raised in horrendous conditions on our nation's "farms"? (check out the movie, Fast Food Nation) Yes, I agree, we should get our priorities straight...

Is there any proof that it was a radical who covered Lindsay in flour? Celebrity doesn't automatically mean you're well liked. From where I stand, celebrities are biult up to be torn down for public amusement. She's a target everywhere. That doesn't make it right, but that's the world you both chose.

PETA: ITS TIME TO JAIL THE LIONS AND TIGERS BECAUSE THEY KEEP KILLING THE GAZELLES. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS. WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE. ALSO, WE NEED TO GET RID OF THE GREAT WHITE SHARK- THEY ARE AFFECTING THE PENGUIN AND SEAL POPULATIONS. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT AND EARTH.
THE IRRATIONALITY OF THEIR ARGUMENT.
Posted by: Dan | November 23, 2008 at 05:01 PM
Brooke, too right.
PETA are a bunch of hypocrites and morons. Their supporters are typically mental midgets as well..."ooh, yeah, they make a good point with that human breast milk for ice cream thing, why isn't that just as suitable for human consumption?". (actual PETArd comment) PETA gives legitimate animal rights organizations gas.

PETA is totaly unreasonible bunch of idiots they attack anyone who dont share the nambdy pambdy view of animals proving just how stupid PETA is and when it comes to real animal welfare PETA spends only a pualtry 1% on animal welfare they would rather use the other 99% of it on nasty propeganda and rediculous and stupid protests or to hire hollywood morons like PAMELA ANDERSON and ALEC BALDWIN to do stupid ads for them ONLY A JERK HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH PETA
Posted by: Birdzilla | January 03, 2009 at 06:35 AM
It's funny that these protestors don't realize Ms. Lohan is just going to go buy another fur coat to replace the one they ruined. PETA needs to get their heads out of their asses and stop trying to force their will on society. People wear fur coats because they're WARM AS HELL! And animals are below humans in the food chain whether anybody likes it or not (and that will never change). STOP TREATING HUMANITY AS YOUR ENEMY, PETA. You have the right to kill/destroy yourselves and your own property, but not anybody else's.

PETA can act to rediculous and stupid trying to force their rediclous and stupid idiologies on everyone i mean i myself dont want anything to do with a group and silly and as stupid as PETA
