Did Reese Witherspoon, Vince Vaughn battle on 'Four Christmases'?

Reesewitherspoon Reese Witherspoon addresses those rumors that she and Vince Vaughn did not get along -- at all -- on the set of "Four Christmases."

Something about her wanting to plan everything out and him preferring to wing it?

Something else about her being a one-take perfectionist and Vince liking to try scenes several different ways?

Sounds plausible. Even possible, given their distinctly different personalities.

But according to Miss Reese, there's no truth to the Web rumors, folks.

"First of all I don’t know where all that came from. Every costar I ever worked with I'm either having an affair, about to get married to him, we’re having a baby or we absolutely cannot stand each other."

Putting the rumors to rest, she explains: "We were very good friends and were very much partners on this movie. We decided to produce it together and we rewrote the script together. Every day was like, ‘How are we going to do this? What are we going to do now?’ "

However, she admits that his height was definitely an issue.

Keep reading to find out about the time he landed on her like a felled tree!

"They couldn’t make Vince smaller. We tried. We tried to get him to take his shoes off. He’s 6’5” and I’m 5’2”. We had a really funny scene, I don’t know if it’s in the film anymore, where he rolls over onto me. We were in bed and then at the very end, he rolls over and goes to sleep but he rolls over and lays on top of me. It was like a tree trunk had just landed on me. I kept going, “Tim-berrrrr!” It was really funny.

She stood on a lot of boxes, and they had to build ramps for her too.

"It was a challenge, especially the kissing scenes.  It was hard to get up there to kiss him, but we worked it out. And he had to pick me up for half the dancing. He’s actually holding me in the air so we can stay in the same frame. He’s a fantastic dancer. A very, very good dancer, which you’d probably figure from 'Swingers.' They were teaching us dance moves. I just couldn’t keep up, and he was like, 'Oh, it’s a one-two cha cha cha.' "

Reese definitely doesn't think of herself as being "powerful," as her "FC" director described her.

"I’m just very clear.  I’m not wishy-washy," she admits. "I tell people how I feel about things.  If I’m mad at you, you know within a minute. (Laughs.) There’s no ambiguity.  So, yeah.  It’s nice to be in a place… I’m getting older and I’m not as fearful of other people’s ideas of who I am.  I’m becoming clearer about that myself and am able to express myself better.

But were she and Kristin Chenoweth separated at birth or what?

"I used to get stopped all the time and people asked, ‘Are you on "West Wing?" ’ And I’d say, ‘No, I’m not on "West Wing," ’ and my girlfriends would say, ‘Oh, have you seen that girl –- she looks just like you and talks just like you and she’s just like you.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, really?’ and then I ran into her at an awards show and I realized I’d seen her in 'Wicked' and all this stuff and I said, ‘Wouldn’t it be fun if we got to play sisters?’  It turns out she’s just the sweetest, nicest, little country girl from Oklahoma.  She’s just sweet and wonderful, so it came up and I called her and asked her to do the movie and she said, yes."

Awwww.
