Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman want to retire from films

Nicolekidman Joaquin Phoenix, Angelina Jolie, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, now Nicole Kidman.

Is everyone retiring?

Joaquin Phoenix has stopped making movies and will concentrate on making music.

Angelina Jolie says she hopes to fade from films.

"I don't plan to keep acting very long," Angelina Jolie tells the BBC.  "I'm ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day."

Nicole Kidman wants to stop acting and have more kids. She tells the Daily Mail, 'I'm in a place in my life where I've had some great opportunities, and I may just choose to have some more children. There's many things I want to do besides act.'

Although we've heard buzz that "Australia" is so bad Nic may not even have a film career left.

Now Coldplay's Chris Martin is now telling journalists he may retire from music soon.

"I'm 31 now and I don't think bands should keep going past 33," he's recently said. "So we're trying to pack in as much as possible. Up until the end of next year, we'll just go for it in every sense. I don't believe in time off. We've still got our own hair, we can still fit into our musical trousers and we've got to make the most of that."

Is there anyone else we'd actually like to see retire? Just thinking out loud...

So long as one of those "few things" ain't the lead in "Atlas Shrugged" it's alright be me darlin'. Leave the heavy lifting to the Blanchetts (most people's 1st choice btw) or even Paltows of the world.

Everyone is retiring but then again for the better. I think we have tooo many actresses and actors perhaps it's a good thing.
