Anne Hathaway, Sheryl Crow, Sigourney Weaver: No fans of Sarah Palin
Sarah Palin definitely doesn't have the Women in Hollywood vote.
Anne Hathaway told reporters at the Elle Women in Hollywood awards that she thought Tina Fey's impression of Sarah Palin at the VP debate was spot on.
"I was really happy that 'SNL' drew attention to the fact that Sarah Palin didn't answer any questions ... and that's kind of frightening."
Sheryl Crow added, "I have a lot of respect for John McCain, but I don't believe he is putting his country first by choosing someone who I feel like is not qualified. I think it was a tactical maneuver."
Sigourney Weaver told the press, "I don't feel she represents me in any way. She's in a skirt, that's about it."
Perry Reeves (not on the video above), who plays Mrs. Ari on "Entourage," told The Dish Rag, "She’s accomplished a lot for a woman from a small town. I don’t think she is qualified to be the vice president of the U.S. We live in an era of the reality show mentality. If you’re cute and charming, people like you, but we're not inviting these people home to dinner. They are going to lead our country!"
Cheryl Hines, wearing a suspiciously Palinesque updo with bangs, conceded, "She's got great hair."

When some dumb celeb states that Sarah Palin doesn't have the experience to be VP why don't you ask them what experience does Barrack Obama have to be President.....please somebody ask this just once!

To Jim;
Your an idiot. Please look closely to the old, old ,old man and dumb woman you are voting for. If you can't see what an unintelligent bimbo SP is it is you that I feel sorry for.
Time to move on and get away from last 8 years.

Obama doesn't have anymore experience than Sarah Palin. I 'm so sick of Hollywood liberals and have heard many other people voice the same comment. Just because Palin doesn't believe anything and everything goes is why they don't like her. Conservative americans want more Hollywood conservatives to step forward and voice their opinions. It may not be considered the most popular thing to do but it will be the most respected.

So what if a few Hollywood liberal turds don`t like Sarah Palin. If I were a woman, I would be jealous too. Since when did the great Messiah,Obama get experience?.
He did do a great job building a temple for himself in that stadium .
I love all the grandiose promises he makes. There are just so many I cant keep track . Hang in There John McCain. You truly are a great American.

It is not that Sarah Palin does not have the experience to be vice president.
It's that she is too dumb to be vice president. Imean she makes George Bush look like a genius by comparison!
Anyone who thinks "what news paper do you read?" is a "gotcha" question should not be a vice president. Anyone who thinks that Alska being the closest state to Russia and "Putin rearing his head over Alaska" is foreign policy experience is not qualified to be president.
She is very dangerous because she doesn't even care to try to learn. At the debate she basically declared that she was not going to answer the moderator's question and would just spew her memorized lines!
Frankly anyone who nominates her to be his vice presidential running mate is not qualified to be president either!

Last time I checked actors are citizens of this country too. So therefore they are also allowed to voiced their opinions if they like especially if someone puts a microphone & camera in their face. Just because you don't like what they say doesn't mean they shouldn't say it. This is America folks! Wake up!

Even if you concede to the fact that Obama has no more experience than Palin, he sure has far more intelligence which this country is in dire need of.
Posted by: Alice | October 08, 2008 at 11:11 PM
I am sorry but no. Obama is not that intelligent. He has had everything handed to him in his life. How else do you think he became President of the Harvard Law Review without actually writing anything for it? How else do you think he has been able to be the presidential nominee of a major party after so few years in the Senate?
He isn't a genius. Any of the choices of his which have been revealed to the public (picking Biden, attending Rev. Wright's church, becoming friends with Bill Ayers, hanging around with Tony Rezko) have shown his poor decisionmaking.
It is easy to seem smart when the media worships you regardless of how the facts actually play out.

all of you here criticizing stars who voice their opinons - they have just as much right as you idiots posting your dumb opinions in public.
what makes you think yours is any better? an opinion is like an ahole... everybody has one.

Jim, you're a moron and you and that creature Palin deserve each other but she isn't qualified to be anything remotely close to Vice President. Anyone who can see Russia from their house and says so is too dumb to be anything but dog catcher. It's the fact that she said that; that makes her unqualified. The woman can't even name a newspaper she reads but I'll bed MAD magazine is on her coffee table along with Guns and Ammo.

Now everyone has seen how hateful some people in Hollywood are. Matt Damon, George Clooney, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar - hateful and bigoted. It is a lesson to the rest of us - who these people really are and NOT to go see their movies or buy their DVDs and to not buy the magazines or newspapers that promote them. LESSON LEARNED.

I take all of my political advice from Hollywood Celebrities.

"who these people really are and NOT to go see their movies or buy their DVDs and to not buy the magazines or newspapers that promote them. LESSON LEARNED."
Or just the opposite, I go and buy the DVDs and movie of these people who stand up against electing morons to our leadership, like GWB. I agree, vote with your money. Go buy Damon's old films if you do not own them. View all of Clooney's films. Let's take the country back from the toothless rednecks who have run the country for 8 years.
McPain + Palin = McPain! NO THIRD TERM!

First off- people are always entitled to an opinion, but if it is uninformed, keep your ignorant mouth shut- or else you come out just like Palin.
Barack Obama, if you knew anything about his life and past, certainly did not have ANYTHING handed to him. Maybe you didn't realize this, but the guy was on food stamps for crying out loud- unlike a certain lame excuse for a leader we've had the last 8 years who only got into his college because of Affirmative Action and was a terrible student. Didn't matter though, Mommy and Daddy always had the wallet to save the day I'm sure.
No, Obama may not be a certified "genius," but he at least has the gall to stand up for what he believes in, and what he feels is the best path for our great country, and the presence of mind to select a vice presidential candidate who has more experience that Palin. The county I grew up in on Long Island has more people than her whole state- the town where I have lived the past 24 years has a ton more people than the one she was mayor of. I've been to more countries than her, I can name at least one Supreme Court case that I disagreed with, and I can play the flute better. Does that mean I'm qualified? NO.
