Guy Ritchie says Madonna loves 'RocknRolla.' O RLY?

"People ask the question, 'What's a rocknrolla?' And I tell 'em, 'We all like a bit of the good life. Some the money or the fame. But a real rocknrolla wants it all," says a character in the new film "RocknRolla."

Returning to the world of British sex, thugs and rock 'n' roll with this film, writer-director Guy Ritchie tells The Dish Rag, “I essentially made this film as much for my own indulgence and pleasure as I did for anyone else's. That's the world that I like, that's the world that I get entertained by."

So does this film tell us something about its maker, Madonna's almost-ex-husband?

One of his stars, Jeremy Piven, says: "You learn a lot about [Guy] through his movies. He’s kind of got his own way of speaking and thinking; he’s a ... highly intelligent guy. You're traveling into the mind of Guy Ritchie with this."

Who else will like it? Ritchie adds, “If you’re a fan of ... the 'Snatch,' 'Lock, Stock' genre, and, basically, if you've got any intelligence, you should enjoy this movie."

Does Madonna, his soon-to-be ex-wife, like it?

"My wife loves the movie, I’m pleased to say.”

Yeah, sure, she said that then. But this interview was done weeks before Guy announced that he and Madonna were divorcing.

Now the war of words has begun and she's called him "emotionally retarded" onstage during her concert tour and made sure Guy saw a photo of his son Rocco wearing a New York Yankees T-shirt that reportedly made him cry.

Wonder what she'd say now?
