Elisabeth Hasselbeck will join Sarah Palin in Florida!
Elisabeth Hasselbeck will introduce Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin at two Republican campaign rallies in Florida this weekend.
The co-host of ABC's "The View," a vocal and staunch Republican, says she's excited and honored!
.
Hasselbeck made the announcement on Thursday’s show: “I am more than honored to be there, so I will be flying there to travel with her and meet some pretty interesting people, I have a feeling. That’s an honor, I’m excited to do it, and I’ll have some stories, I’m sure, on Monday.”
ABC confirms that “The View” star has been invited by the Republican vice presidential nominee to appear at two weekend rallies. Hasselbeck's rep confirms to MSNBC that she’ll attend events in Tampa and Kissimmee.
This wouldn’t be the first time Hasselbeck has appeared at an event in an official GOP capacity; during the Republican National Convention, she hosted a lunch for Cindy McCain.
I can so see these two being pals!
And she was once invited by George W. Bush to an official state dinner at the White House for Queen Elizabeth.
Hoo boy. Remember to tune into "The View" Monday.
I'm sure Hasselbeck's Palin-powered stories are gonna drive Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar totally over the edge.

McCain/Palin are hypocrites once again. Criticise Obama for celebrity support and status, then get your own celebrity, Hasselbeck, to stump for you, after you finish getting your $22,000 dollar makeup done. Palin is the biggest fraud ever. After the Biden/Palin debate, my mother called me and proclaimed Palin nothing more than an actress. I agree, so she and Hasselbeck would make great buddies. Now they can sit down and talk nonsense to each other.

Maybe Elizabeth should stay with Palin, going back to Alaska with her when her ticket goes down in flames in November. Her relentless support for Bush makes me sick!

This is great, I can't wait to see them both in Kissimmee! They both seem genuinely likable, not empty suits like Obama & Obiden.

I'm amazed at how well Elizabeth stands up for what she believes in. She is the only one with
conservative views on "the View". It is hard to be a conservative because, conservatives, I feel, believe they need to be responsible for the situations that come into their lives and not have others cater to them because their life might be a little different or difficult. And they have this dogmatic belief in God or a higher power who will help them get through situations they have no control over, they are dependent on God.
But a liberal can do anything, say anything and not be held accountable for it, because they don't take on that personal responsibility for themselves.
I hate it when citizens expect someone (government) to make their lives better, when in reality, it is them who can and should do it, even though it is not easy.

Palin & Hasselback are two dingbats. Palin answers a simple question with one paragraph. And Hasselback is not articulate and she can not express herself. The two of them together are sentences to nowhere. They are both beautiful and dumb. Their beauty will fade but their dumbness will last forever.

Elisabeth is as UNINFORMED as Gov. Palin. I've heard her OVER & OVER again on the View, say Obama's campaign was started in Bill Ayers living room. That statemeent has been addressed and already proven to be false. Just like Gov. Palin - Hasselbeck doesn't do her homework and/or is just another GOP sheep blindly following the herd and drinking the kool-aid from the trough.....

Go Elisabeth...don't be afraid to do what you believe in!

Elizabeth is small minded and immature..listens to her own opinion and noone else Spoiled Brat!!!!!
Posted by: carole | October 24, 2008 at 12:25 PM
Do any of you negative people have a thinking part in your body. Check out the facts against your own candidate rather than slamming the McCain/Palin ticket. Since you don't worry about a non-naturalized citizen becoming President, I guess your don't believe in the American way of life with rules.
You don't even include your name. What cowards!

Hey, Sara: Calm down. And spare us your "a liberal can do anything" whining. It's just fine that Mrs. Hasselbeck goes and stumps for McCain/Palin. She's free to do that.
And to Rich Fern: The only coward here is you, spreading more right-wing lies. You have no business questioning anyone else's beliefs. That in itself is blatantly un-American.

Way to go Elizabeth. You deserve to be honored by such a dynamic Lady like Palin. It's nice to see some celebrity is not affraid to speak out against all the gay liberals.
Since most of hollywood are affraid to say what they really feel about having morals keeping with true values, if their straight that is. If they are straight then they will say whtever they have to to keep popular. They are all affraid they will lose their popularity or be hit with the Anita Bryant Syndrome.
I love Elizabeth for being so strong and putting up with the hollywood follower bu11shit.
YES on 8.

More poor judgment from McCain. Hasslebeck is a moron.

They say that two heads are better than one, but in this case, if they put their heads together they just might...might...come up with enough grey-matter to almost equal one brain.

carole~~(10/24/08--12:25 pm)~~ exactly who is the non-naturalized citizen you would be talking about?? Get your info right before you embarass yourself. duhhhh.....

olivia~~you hit the nail on the head. H & P are two peas in a pod!

Concerned Democrat. Are any of you aware that the Democrats are attempting to abolish the 401 (k) tax breaks? That would increase all of of taxes!
I'm considering the McCain / Palin ticket.

I'm so excited that Elizabeth is campaigning for Sarah Palin. What a great pair. She is so much better than the other "frumps" on the view (has anyone suggested retirement to Barbara, she looks like she's at least 80 years old). You go girl!! We're behind you 100%.
Posted by: Judi | October 24, 2008 at 07:26 PM
I love you and I think we need more conservative women like you. Don't let those other women intimidate you. Continue to think for yourself! You've got it. You and Sarah are my inspiration!
Go Sarah - Go Elizabeth!

GO, GO Palin, at least she is not associated with terrorists like Obama is.
Palin's gpt grit and a lot more experience on paper than the terrorists pals and Obama combined.
GO, GO Palin ! YOU BET!!

Elisabeth,
Thank you for being so brave! It's really tough being a Conservative woman these days...but there are more of us out here than the left thinks there are. My parents live in Florida, my sister lives in Florida - they are voting for McCain/Palin. The rest of my family in Michigan (even my 95 year old Grandma) is voting for McCain/Palin.
WOMEN for McCain/Palin.
Keep up the good work Elisabeth - ignore those idiots on the left.

In response to Sara @ 11:09 a.m.
Sara, you are so right about a person standing up for what they believe in. Are you aware that there are plenty of democrats who don't believe in abortion and would never have one. But they are not silly enough to base their voting decision on that one issue! Do you REALLY REALLY believe that these people (McCain/Palin) really care about the abortion issue????? How naive are you? Everyone knows that McCain has flipped flopped on this issue. He runs with whatever will get him in the front door to the white house and as far as Palin goes, she's nothing but a liar!

So Elizabeth, are you against gays? I just have to wonder if you'll stand up and admit to that as well. That should further your career quite well.
