Bristol Palin's fiance, Levi Johnston, won't be voting in the election
Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin were planning on getting hitched before all this vice president and baby nonsense.
"We were planning on getting married a long time ago with or without the kid," he tells Associated Press. "That was the plan from the start."
The baby, which he hints will be a boy, is due Dec. 18. "I'm looking forward to having him," he said. "I'm going to take him hunting and fishing. He'll be everywhere with me."
He may not have that much free time since he’s dropped out of high school to take a job on the North Slope oil fields as an apprentice electrician.
Johnston says that MySpace page was made by his pals as a joke a few years ago. He also says he's dated Palin since his freshman year in high school. Their wedding will be next summer, and two of his hockey buddies will be his groomsmen.
This guy loves to hunt and has bagged bears, sheep, elk and caribou. According to AP, some antlers are scattered about his yard. He even lost a promise ring Palin gave him on a caribou hunt last July. So he decided to tattoo her name on the finger and not bother with more rings because he'd just lose the darn things anyway.
That wasn't a command performance at the RNC; Bristol invited him, and he was thrilled to attend.
"At first, I was nervous," he said. "Then I was like, 'Whatever.' "
Asked about Barack Obama, Bristol’s babydaddy says: "I don't know anything about him. He seems like a good guy. I like him."
But Levi won’t be voting for Barack. Or Sarah Palin for that matter. He didn't register in time.
You gotta love it.

Any guesses who helped young Levi get his job??? Nothing comes for free - I wonder when he'll get his Palin family assignment and if it involves Trooper Wooten! Poor guy.

How sad. You can see where education falls on Mrs. Palin's list of important things to do when you are young. Why not force this young man to finish high school as well as consenting to their marriage? Many, many people have finished high school, married, and had children. It is possible, especially with the support of the families. The fact that Gov. Palin will let her future son-in-law quit high school does not bode well for her future education policies. I find this decision very sad for this young man, who could have been a high school graduate as well as a husband and father.

All part of the oddball Palin story. The whole Palin clan represents the kind of offbeat script that would take a roomful of writers months to write. Strange stuff.

Glad to see this guy take responsibility for his actions and glad to see he will be a father to this child and not go the route so many Democrats do: abortion or dads in name only
Only Democrats would attack this young man cause they have no class

Levi and Bristol are accepting their responsibility and moving on with their lives. The left-wing socialists are condemning personal responsbility, something they are very good at doing as they are always looking for a program to cushion the fall when one makes bad choices in life. Just another example of lefties supporting big government intrusion into their private lives. You liberals are a sorry bunch to be sure. You just can't survive without the government telling you what to do and when to do it.

The headline "Levi Johnston won't be voting in the election" Implies that he has chosen not to vote for his future mother in law when infact he's just a dopey kid that failed to register. So, Elizabeth Snead, hoping that the bulk of Americans won't actually read your trash?

Mission Accomplished! Who needs school?

It seems he is headed to a similar careet as Al Bundy of Married With Children. It's a shame that he isn't smart enough to finish high school, maybe he will get a GED because he should need that to enter a trade school for electricians.

What a sad commentary that a Vice-Presidential nominee 's daughter is pregnant, unmarried and engaged to a recent high school drop-out. If Palin has no inclination and/or influence to persuade her future (?) son-in-law to stay in school to maximize his education to the greatest extent possible for not only his own future but also that oif her future grandchild then how on earth can she assume the responsibilities of Vice-President or even President? The Palins are not the First Family of Alaska but rather the First Trailer Park Trash Family of Alaska!

Sounds like Levi is smarter than those making fun and saying what "ought" to be done. There is nothing wrong with being an electrician., besides who said he wouldn't finish H.S.or go to college?

There are times Obamacons should just be quiet because when they open their mouth they sound like elitists liberal snobs.
Too often men in this situation refuse responsibility, I applaud Levi for stepping up. If my son got himself in a similar situation I'd hope he'd step up just like Levi.
For the record, while I disagree with Palin on so many levels. I do find the 1st dude's commitment to getting non college educated kids good paying jobs. Levi was an extension of that commitment.
What the liberals did in regards to the Palin kids was unthinkable. I do hope they don't complain when the right's wackos go after the Obama girls.

Nobody is slamming this nitwit for marrying the girl he knocked up. We're slamming him for being a dumbass - "Then I was like, 'Whatever.' "
And kind of unpatriotic not to get registered in time to vote.
Next time, include some statistics that show that Democrats fail to be fathers more often than Republicans. Your generalizations are tiresome.

Adrianna: Do you have any statistical information to verify your claim that Democrats exclusively use abortions? Demonizing Democrats is a favorite pastime for winguts when it's "faith-based"-- in other words, based upon nothing but belief. If you don't have facts to back up your claim, then how about freely admitting that what you assert isn't a "fact", but is your own opinion. Let's be responsible, shall we?
Yes, I know. It doesn't sound nearly as powerful when you don't intentionally distort or lie.

I bet Palin is hoping either the baby is stillborn or the sperm donor dies on the north slope & wouldn't have to marry the knocked up teenager.

I'm sick and tired of people bashing the Palins and Alaska. We are civilized people-how can you judge people if you don't know them or have been to Alaska. Alaska is one of the most beautiful places in the union. We aren't trailer trash. Sure I agree that Levi should have finished high school and gone to college, but give me a break enough is enough. Maybe he thought its what's best for his young family. Maybe we should ask him. Oh well he forgot to register along with countless of other 18 year olds. Ask your kids I bet they forgot. Just leave these people alone. Its all the medias fault. They trash these people - how about trashing the "other guy" for a awhile. The media is so left and it sucks! Don't blame the candidates blame the left media, McCain Palin 08 No-Bama!
