Angelina Jolie has held off on endorsing a presidential candidate so far.
But in the new German issue of Vanity Fair, she had some kind words for Democratic nominee Barack Obama.
"Obama is fighting for international justice, he wants to intervene militarily in genocides abroad, and he wants to close down Guantanamo Bay.
"They are things which could move me to vote for him, not his roots. Of course, an American president like Barack Obama would be great for my family."
Do you agree? Meaning, is his stand on international justice, intervention in genocides and closing down Guantanamo Bay a good reason for voting for Obama?
Why are you voting for him?
Or, conversely, why aren't you voting for him?

Barack Obama has stood for justice all of his life, and in the steps of our founding fathers will bring America back to its roots. I will vote for Obama for the principles of freedom, respect and hope that he will restore to America and its future.

Angela has a right to endorse whomever she wants and conversely we the public have a right to not attend her movies or watch any TV appearance she may make if we disagree with her. Celebrity is a two edged sword.

i am a fan of yours, but
Angelina, will you be willing to send your kids
into the miitary to help
him. We don't have the man power or money.

Angelina-you are the coolest woman -you and Brad are doing such good in the world. Obama will do the same. I will go to every movie you do-and Brad's too..
You both are supremely talented people.
