I'm kinda thinking Nia Vardalos or Julia Louis-Dreyfus might work too.

tina Fey: A Comedian for a comedian.

I do believe that Mariska Hargitay has the physicality and the right bone structure to play Gov. Sarah Palin and it doesn’t hurt to add that she is a terrific actress and I believe she can pull this character/play like a no body.

I think that they could all play Sarah Palin. Will it be an honest portrayal or a liberal leaning character assassinination based on lies and innuendo.

Your all missing the obvious one! The minute I saw her on TV I thought it was Dr. Melfi from the Sopranos!!!

This is crap. Typical media arrogance.

Oh come on! It has to be Seinfeld's Julia Louis-Dreyfus!

When I first saw her I thought Tina Fey. Saturday Night Live is going to have fun with her. Yee Haw

What about Lorraine Braco? I think Palin looks like an evil Dr. Melfi from Sopranos.

She looks like Megan Mullally, glasses or not. And no offense to Tina lovers, but Tina isn't NEARLY as attractive as Megan or Sarah. Not even several years ago when she was her
"prettiest". Sorry, but it's true.

Nah, Sandra Bullock.

To me, Palin looks so much like Karen on Will & Grace that I half expect her to walk out on stage with a martini !!(which she will probaqbly end up needing in the weeks ahead!)

Although Tina Fey is doing a great job in her guest spots on SNL as Palin, I think Megan Mullally woud really kill as Palin -- when I first learned of Governor Palin, I immediately wondered how McCain got "Karen Walker" to be on his ticket.

I think Lisa Goldstein, the girl who played Millicent Huxtable on One Tree Hill, could portray as Sarah Palin because she looks like her.

ha she's still annoyed at letterman even after he apologised. Yikes not sure whether a movie is worth it though. check it out http://thecelebritycafe.com/features/28889.html
