Probably just long enough for Victoria Beckham to grow out the super-super-short new pixie cut at the Marc Jacobs fashion show in New York last night.
The cut is a face-framing and unquestionably carefree cut. The only question is whether it's a flattering style for Victoria's elfin face.
It's very reminiscent of Mia Farrow's super-short cut, circa "Rosemary's Baby." Farrow reportedly had her long straight hair hacked off by Vidal Sassoon in the late '60s after a fight with her then-boyfriend, Frank Sinatra.
Will Eva Longoria-Parker meekly follow suit and hack off her new bob? We hope not. Try growing it out instead, Eva.
Frankly, with this cut, Victoria could play Tinkerbelle in a remake of "Peter Pan."
The big buzz is how Victoria is not-so-secretly trying to out-hairdo Katie Holmes, who has been getting lots of attention in New York for her very cute new short cut, a longer on the top, softer and more flattering.
Which cut do you think is cuter, Katie or Victoria's?

Katie's hairdo is OK, but Victoria is the one with the Pixie cut. Katie's looks like what happens when someone goes in and tells their hairdresser that they want something short that they won't have to mess with. Victoria's looks super!

Victoria copying Kate??? puhleeease..! Victoria has NEVER stayed with one hairstyle longer than a year...and it is about time she changes her hair while at the same time launching her first dress' line. i was getting quite bored with her POB in the last couple of months and i know that she will change her hair soon. of course she will CUT it to change it, she always make a 'natural' change - short to shorter, long to GROW it longer and of course with some extension after that - to her hair.
as for stylish between her and Katie, it's Victoria all the way!

The only people who make that style look sexy are Halle Berry & Toni Braxton...Posh looks awful...too skinny for this!

Katie's is more flattering. Victoria's makes her look more the bag of bones she is! She looks awful, too skinny and her hands look like they belong to a 60 yr old

I hate both styles! Victoria looks like a tom boy and her age is starting to show. Katie is cute but i don't like her hair either. When they both had long hair they were nice especially victoria's hair!

I was so excited to see Victoria cut her hair so short! I finished chemotherapy earlier this year and my hair has grown out to about the same length as Victoria's is now and I have been somewhat self conscious about wearing my hair so short but now Victoria has made it chic! I LOVE it. I am sure there are other girls out there who sympathize and are excited about this too

Like Bella I recently finished chemo and took the bold decision to go without a wig a couple of weeks ago (so no Joanne, it's not just Victoria who has the guts), never having short hair since I was 13!! My nephew gelled it up for me and yesterday everyone started commenting I had the same hair style as Posh.

please its awful doesnt suit her face shape at all and im sick of posh im a hairdresser and the cut i will be doing for the next year is the pixie lol boring theres much better styles out there looking like tinkerbelle is not good glamour is better dont cut ya hair off untill your 40 and if you do take face shapes into consideration victoria simple has not got it lol and as for katie homes she looks awfull she looks like shes trying the sexy mum look and its so not working x
