Did Sarah Palin dress up as Tina Fey for Halloween? Pictures, please!
You'll never guess who was watching Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's priceless Sarah Palin/Hillary Rodham Clinton skit on "Saturday Night Live."
According to Us Weekly, Gov. Sarah Palin was.
She and her staff watched it onboard the campaign plane flying from Reno to Denver on Saturday evening. Although ABC is reporting that there was nothing but "silence" from the front of the plane, which was hidden by a pulled curtain, the reporters onboard the campaign plane were howling over the impression.
"The flight attendants assured us Palin and her entourage were watching. What she thought, though, is anyone's guess. Palin has yet to say so much as hello to the press corps," reads the ABC report posted Sept. 14.
But Palin's spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt gave the official campaign reply to CBS News: "She thought it was quite funny, particularly because she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween."
What? Where are those photos? We want, make that need, to see them NOW! Unless it's just a poor imitation of Fey's "Weekend Update" co-anchor suit. That's kind of a snooze.
Watch the SNL video again, because once is not enough.
Photos: Eerily, Sarah Palin looks more like a SNL cast member than Tina Fey does. And Tina Fey looks more like a VP candidate. The grassroots Tina Fey write-in movement starts now! Who ya gonna vote for?

The real Sarah Palin is far more attractive than the pretend one.

My mom was a hockey mom.
She wasn't a pit bull, a liar or a con artist.
She was a ''reformed Republican.'' She had a brain.
Not half a brain like those buying into this Palin Project at the same time America is coming apart at the seams. The closest thing to "a mountain being removed and be thou cast into the sea" in her view of the world, would have been Lehman Bros. "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain" she once joked, referring to John McCain.
Mom was more like a smart Golden Retriever; loyal and kind, but tough with anyone unreasonable. She looked out for the common person with a deep spirit of compassion and volunteered to help the less fortunate. In in the late 60's she tutored underprivileged kids of a different race. I went with her, still remembering how we had to lock the car doors once we entered into that neighborhood.
She went to church, but didn''t wave her hands to the sky during the service like a lunatic. Mom taught us to beware of a wacko.
Pit bulls are the most dangerous, vicious dogs on the planet. I know dogs and I know people.
And Sarah Palin, you are no Golden Retriever

No, she dressed up as a caveman, and rode in on a velociraptor.

I saw the quote where Sarah Palin said she dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween. As a Pentecostal, is she going against her faith to celebrate Halloween?
Oh, the hypocrisy.
Pictures of her dressed up for Halloween would be great...I'd like to get them on my blog:

I still can't figure out if Tina Fey looks like Sarah Palin or if Sarah Palin looks like Tina Fey.
Articles like this one don't help

It's funny how the media is tryin to imbue any kind of importance to the perfomance of an unknown comedian actress (at least I have never heard of tina fey) working on a tv show that was last funny only when the not ready for prime time players were cast members, and when they left the show floundered and tanked... i am amazed that it has laboured on to the present day with unknown bit players that frankly are not funny (will farrel for one .. omg snooze city).
My point here is that if anyone bases thier political choices from the bantering of washed up writers on a show that should have been canceled in the early 80's then the country is indeed in big trouble =/.

" Palin has yet to say so much as hello to the press corps," reads the ABC report posted Sept. 14. " - open mouth, insert foot. She's a lie-ability now and that won't change if she's VP.

Man, it's happening. I'm getting to the point where I don't believe anything Sarah Palin says. I'm beginning to regard her as the consummate opportunist, the woman who will say or do anything to further her aims.
I will bet money that she never "dressed up as Tina Fey". Why would she? Is she a fan? Would that even be an interesting costume?
I too demand pictures. Wait, never mind. I don't really care that much. Palin will be old news soon if she doesn't come out from behind the curtain.

Sounds like a phony to me -- a staff-tooled comment designed to make Palin seem like a real pal.

Some insightful comments of people were that Palin said this as a dig on Tina Fey. They felt Palin was saying yet another lie. I tend to believe this since she has/is a member of an extreme Armageddon loving evangelical church. I'm pretty sure none of them celebrate Halloween. She's more likely to ban the day if she gets to power. Go Tina!

I still can't believe how much Tina looks like Sarah or vice versa. Forget pics of the brangelina twins - those candid Sarah Palin shots would be priceless!

Isn't it great that God made us all so different...yet, alike?

Halloween? You mean that day that heathens observe by worshipping the devil?
Posted by: Biff | September 16, 2008 at 07:05 PM
Good for Sarah. Leave those loopy ABC Democrats posing as journalists to claw at each other behind the curtain.
It's good the Democrats from ABC had a little fun at Sarah's expense because upon deboarding, they immediatly had to start reporting that Obama is sinking fast in polls across the country.
We know whose laughing now, don't we....

If it wasn't true, it was a very funny, very quick!, comeback.
Why would ANYBODY dress up at Tina Fey for Halloween????
Hey guys, relax, it's only SNL. They gotta really love you to 'do' you.
ENJOY!

Where are the pictures? They don't exist. She's a pathological liar, she'll say anything and everything to make herself look better.
Posted by: rhoadsfamily | September 16, 2008 at 07:19 PM
In case no one noticed... Tina Fey has gone Hollywood in the last few years. She looks far better than she did, in photos, within the last two years. Could it be $600 haircuts?
Posted by: missmouse | September 16, 2008 at 07:33 PM
Of course she never actually dressed up as Tina Fey. That doesn't even make sense ("dress up" as a normal-looking person who you already sort of resemble?).
This is just another one of the casual lies that automatically flow from the lips of Palin and her staff whenever they open their mouths.
Posted by: Jon | September 16, 2008 at 07:41 PM
its probably just another lie

This is absolutely useless. Why doesnt the media ever concentrate on the issues??????????

"This is absolutely useless. Why doesnt the media ever concentrate on the issues??????????"
Uh, because people like you keep reading this stuff?

How do you dress up as Tina Fey in the first place. That's like some skinny white guy saying he dressed as Edward Norton...
Posted by: Greg | September 16, 2008 at 08:23 PM
YES, some people raised in the Assemblies of God do have costume parties on Halloween. It's not that big of a deal. Some do, some don't. I can't believe how a wonderful church like the AG have been bashed by folks who know nothing about the faith.
And dressing up like Tina Fey just means she had a few laughs at her own expense w/o spending a lot on a costume. Lighten up, people!!

As an evangelical Christian who, yes, often raises his hands in worship of the Almighty God, I can assure you that plenty of good Christians do enjoy dressing up on October 31, otherwise known as Halloween. One aspect of liberal thought is to give those who hold different views some respect, and to consider the complexities of reality and not immediately dismiss something, out of hand. Yet very few liberals commenting here seem to have grasped that, and seem very vicious in their treatment of Christians and forms of worship that they haven't experienced and don't understand. I'm not crazy, just because I lift my hands up to show my palms to the Lord. It's a sign of trust, of faith. It's simple body language. You hide your palms from someone you don't trust. By the way, I teach at a university -- I'm a professor.
