Did Sarah Palin dress up as Tina Fey for Halloween? Pictures, please!
You'll never guess who was watching Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's priceless Sarah Palin/Hillary Rodham Clinton skit on "Saturday Night Live."
According to Us Weekly, Gov. Sarah Palin was.
She and her staff watched it onboard the campaign plane flying from Reno to Denver on Saturday evening. Although ABC is reporting that there was nothing but "silence" from the front of the plane, which was hidden by a pulled curtain, the reporters onboard the campaign plane were howling over the impression.
"The flight attendants assured us Palin and her entourage were watching. What she thought, though, is anyone's guess. Palin has yet to say so much as hello to the press corps," reads the ABC report posted Sept. 14.
But Palin's spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt gave the official campaign reply to CBS News: "She thought it was quite funny, particularly because she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween."
What? Where are those photos? We want, make that need, to see them NOW! Unless it's just a poor imitation of Fey's "Weekend Update" co-anchor suit. That's kind of a snooze.
Watch the SNL video again, because once is not enough.
Photos: Eerily, Sarah Palin looks more like a SNL cast member than Tina Fey does. And Tina Fey looks more like a VP candidate. The grassroots Tina Fey write-in movement starts now! Who ya gonna vote for?

The real Sarah Palin is far more attractive than the pretend one.

My mom was a hockey mom.
She wasn't a pit bull, a liar or a con artist.
She was a ''reformed Republican.'' She had a brain.
Not half a brain like those buying into this Palin Project at the same time America is coming apart at the seams. The closest thing to "a mountain being removed and be thou cast into the sea" in her view of the world, would have been Lehman Bros. "Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain" she once joked, referring to John McCain.
Mom was more like a smart Golden Retriever; loyal and kind, but tough with anyone unreasonable. She looked out for the common person with a deep spirit of compassion and volunteered to help the less fortunate. In in the late 60's she tutored underprivileged kids of a different race. I went with her, still remembering how we had to lock the car doors once we entered into that neighborhood.
She went to church, but didn''t wave her hands to the sky during the service like a lunatic. Mom taught us to beware of a wacko.
Pit bulls are the most dangerous, vicious dogs on the planet. I know dogs and I know people.
And Sarah Palin, you are no Golden Retriever

No, she dressed up as a caveman, and rode in on a velociraptor.

I saw the quote where Sarah Palin said she dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween. As a Pentecostal, is she going against her faith to celebrate Halloween?
Oh, the hypocrisy.
Pictures of her dressed up for Halloween would be great...I'd like to get them on my blog:

Elizabeth Snead you are so not funny, didn't you get it ? Halloween / Tina , don't jokes work both ways ?? I mean GOD how could Sara dare mock a comedienne ??? get over your self. If we are lucky, you will have 12 years to work on it. (smile)

I still can't figure out if Tina Fey looks like Sarah Palin or if Sarah Palin looks like Tina Fey.
Articles like this one don't help
Posted by: georgia | September 16, 2008 at 06:49 PM
It's funny how the media is tryin to imbue any kind of importance to the perfomance of an unknown comedian actress (at least I have never heard of tina fey) working on a tv show that was last funny only when the not ready for prime time players were cast members, and when they left the show floundered and tanked... i am amazed that it has laboured on to the present day with unknown bit players that frankly are not funny (will farrel for one .. omg snooze city).
My point here is that if anyone bases thier political choices from the bantering of washed up writers on a show that should have been canceled in the early 80's then the country is indeed in big trouble =/.

" Palin has yet to say so much as hello to the press corps," reads the ABC report posted Sept. 14. " - open mouth, insert foot. She's a lie-ability now and that won't change if she's VP.
Posted by: Jay | September 16, 2008 at 06:52 PM
Man, it's happening. I'm getting to the point where I don't believe anything Sarah Palin says. I'm beginning to regard her as the consummate opportunist, the woman who will say or do anything to further her aims.
I will bet money that she never "dressed up as Tina Fey". Why would she? Is she a fan? Would that even be an interesting costume?
I too demand pictures. Wait, never mind. I don't really care that much. Palin will be old news soon if she doesn't come out from behind the curtain.
Posted by: Jerry/Orlando | September 16, 2008 at 06:53 PM
Sounds like a phony to me -- a staff-tooled comment designed to make Palin seem like a real pal.
Posted by: Inkfingers | September 16, 2008 at 07:01 PM
Some insightful comments of people were that Palin said this as a dig on Tina Fey. They felt Palin was saying yet another lie. I tend to believe this since she has/is a member of an extreme Armageddon loving evangelical church. I'm pretty sure none of them celebrate Halloween. She's more likely to ban the day if she gets to power. Go Tina!
Posted by: Hoosiermac | September 16, 2008 at 07:01 PM
I still can't believe how much Tina looks like Sarah or vice versa. Forget pics of the brangelina twins - those candid Sarah Palin shots would be priceless!

Halloween? You mean that day that heathens observe by worshipping the devil?
Posted by: Biff | September 16, 2008 at 07:05 PM
Good for Sarah. Leave those loopy ABC Democrats posing as journalists to claw at each other behind the curtain.
It's good the Democrats from ABC had a little fun at Sarah's expense because upon deboarding, they immediatly had to start reporting that Obama is sinking fast in polls across the country.
We know whose laughing now, don't we....

If it wasn't true, it was a very funny, very quick!, comeback.
Why would ANYBODY dress up at Tina Fey for Halloween????
Hey guys, relax, it's only SNL. They gotta really love you to 'do' you.
ENJOY!

Where are the pictures? They don't exist. She's a pathological liar, she'll say anything and everything to make herself look better.
Posted by: rhoadsfamily | September 16, 2008 at 07:19 PM
In case no one noticed... Tina Fey has gone Hollywood in the last few years. She looks far better than she did, in photos, within the last two years. Could it be $600 haircuts?
Posted by: missmouse | September 16, 2008 at 07:33 PM
Of course she never actually dressed up as Tina Fey. That doesn't even make sense ("dress up" as a normal-looking person who you already sort of resemble?).
This is just another one of the casual lies that automatically flow from the lips of Palin and her staff whenever they open their mouths.
Posted by: Jon | September 16, 2008 at 07:41 PM
its probably just another lie

How do you dress up as Tina Fey in the first place. That's like some skinny white guy saying he dressed as Edward Norton...
Posted by: Greg | September 16, 2008 at 08:23 PM
YES, some people raised in the Assemblies of God do have costume parties on Halloween. It's not that big of a deal. Some do, some don't. I can't believe how a wonderful church like the AG have been bashed by folks who know nothing about the faith.
And dressing up like Tina Fey just means she had a few laughs at her own expense w/o spending a lot on a costume. Lighten up, people!!
Posted by: IlikeSarah | September 16, 2008 at 08:24 PM
As an evangelical Christian who, yes, often raises his hands in worship of the Almighty God, I can assure you that plenty of good Christians do enjoy dressing up on October 31, otherwise known as Halloween. One aspect of liberal thought is to give those who hold different views some respect, and to consider the complexities of reality and not immediately dismiss something, out of hand. Yet very few liberals commenting here seem to have grasped that, and seem very vicious in their treatment of Christians and forms of worship that they haven't experienced and don't understand. I'm not crazy, just because I lift my hands up to show my palms to the Lord. It's a sign of trust, of faith. It's simple body language. You hide your palms from someone you don't trust. By the way, I teach at a university -- I'm a professor.

Obviously a funny joke that people full of too much hate for Palin would never get. 'Dressing up as her for Halloween' - its just a funny comeback. Maybe she needs to hold up a /scarcasm tag for you guys to get it.
Posted by: Melanie | September 16, 2008 at 09:25 PM
You guys trashing Sarah Palin are quite patethic. Who are you and what have you done? Sarah Palin is a woman of integrity - and it's amazing how someone who obviously knows nothing about Palin's spiritual beliefs somehow seems to know the "rules"...celebrating a halloween party a sin? Puhleese... there is so much garbage from man-made rules that have been passed down that have nothing to do with a relationship with Jesus. And people who really know Jesus, not just some religion, know that. And I can tell that Palin is one of those who haven't been sideswiped by a form of religion that lacks the true power of God. Shoot - don't get me on Oprah.
Sarah, I am behind you 100% and there are a ton of people who are. Just know that people are praying for you and your familiy every day.
Everyone else talking smack needs to shut their mouths because your words will come back upon you. I don't normally "talk" like this but I'm FED UP with everyone talking junk about what they know nothing of...
I don't like Barack Obama, however I would not talk disrespectfully to him. Even if you don't like the person, you should respect the office.
Sarah Palin may not be someone you like, however she did not get into office because she's an idiot. Respect her office if nothing else and just glue your lips shut please. Thank you very much.

Democrats whining again about everything on earth but when someone does a piece on their guy like this they cry that it isn't about "the issues" as is just a distraction.
Fake outrage is a staple of the democrat party and Obama in particular. A bunch of hypocrites!

Of course Sarah Palin did not dress up as Tina Fey. Come on, she was trying to be nasty by suggesting that Tina Fey is ghoulish-looking compared to her beauty.
That is the kind of person Sarah Palin is ... it's all about her.
Posted by: Keyacz | September 16, 2008 at 09:40 PM
Why does Palin think it's "funny" because SHE dressed up like Fey for Halloween ? That makes the content of Fey's AMAZINGLY true-to-life parody "funny" ? Sadly, it seems that Palin, the brick-brain that she is, didn't realize that Fey was smashing her over the head with a reality check / mirror.
If Palin claims it was "funny", then she's even more clueless than once thought. Her response SHOULD be, "Wow - I come across like THAT ?!? - Gee, it's time to do some soul-searching and re-think how I come across"...
Ignorance is truly bliss, or in Palin's case, "funny".

Seriously? Unknown comedian? She was on SNL for a long time, I was never a big fan of hers or SNL during that period. But ummmm ... ever hear of 30 Rock (you know the one with the Emmy's and the Baldwin and the one with Tina Fey as writer/producer/actor)? You must not be from America because if there is one thing Americans do it is watch TV.
Seriously, in this comparison (Palin v. Fey) Palin is the talentless no-name.

is palin the person YOU want representing YOU in talks with world leaders? Will her lack of experience be overcome by her "pitbull" attitude when WE need it? i understand the upset with the media because they are tearing her apart, but at the end of the day it is all part of the republican part distracting the American public. Guess what, it is working. we are too busy discussing her daughter and feeling bad for her to see the real picture. She is not qualified to be our vp much less our Prez.

Sarah does not celebrate Halloween. She is a fundamentalist Christian, and fundamentalist Christians do not celebrate witches.
That is what Palin meant, that Tina was a witch, and of course that the only real witch is Palin.
Posted by: Al | September 16, 2008 at 10:12 PM
If this story of Sarah Palin's is like everything else she's claimed...of course it's not true. Now that the excitement's over and the reality hits...Sarah Palin has proven what she really is. Virtually everything this woman has claimed (in her "speeches" written entirely by a Bush Junior speechwriter) has been proven to be LIES, SPIN, or FABRICATIONS.
She was for "The Bridge to Nowhere" before she was against it. She's "against earmarks" but she kept the "Bridge to Nowhere" millions, and requested more earmark giveaways per capita - millions for the tiny village of Wasilla - than any other politician in Alaska. As governor, she requested almost $200 million in earmarks for Alaska this year...again, the largest pork request per capita of ANY state in the United States.
She never sold that jet on eBay. When it was sold, it was sold for a loss, not a profit as claimed. And anyway, she has no problem at all flying around the country on McCain's private jet.
Her "trip to Ireland" was actually just a refueling stop. Her "trip to Iraq" never happened.
She said she'd cooperate on the "TrooperGate" investigation, but her lawyers are doing everything possible to bury it.
Palin, who portrays herself as a fiscal conservative, racked up nearly $20 million in long-term debt as mayor of the tiny town of Wasilla — that amounts to $3,000 per resident
She's against sex education, leaving her sixteen-year old daughter ignorant about birth control...and now pregnant.
On and on and on...I could write a dozen more examples...and we're just starting to scratch the surface of her "record of success".
Endless lies. Endless spin. Endless fabrications. Sarah Palin is nothing more than "DICK CHENEY IN LIPSTICK". The MYTH OF SARAH PALIN is just the same old failed Republican hypocrisy and garbage we've suffered through these past eight years. Those who jumped on her bandwagon are starting to jump off in droves...because unlike John McCain (who should have known better)...they actually DO put "Country First".

Palin is thin skinned and vindictive. What she was trying to do with her comment is be sarcastic.. ie that Tina Fey herself is a walking Halloween costume. ie she went as a scary thing .=TF
Its the kind of comment a 7 yr old girl would make.

I see a lot of hate here, a lot. I see very little rational thought. I suppose that's to be expected these days but I wish the more rational supporters of Obama would look around them at their peers and think about it a little bit.

Palin's story that she dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween is yet another Palin lie. McCain's campaign came up with that doosey to try to get back at Tina Fey. One thing about Palin is that she has no hesitation to lie and lie and lie.

is sarah palin not 6 years older than tina fey?? when did she dress up as her then when she was in her 30s handing out candy to the kids in wasilla?

Sarah Palin is the female Mitt Romney. Good looking, will take whatever position and say whatever it takes to win an election.

If, indeed, she did dress up as Fey I'll bet it was with a big fake caricature of a scar on her left cheek (imitating Fey's).
If so, that's nasty.

I think PALIN'S 15 minutes of Fame is about to run out.
Posted by: John | September 17, 2008 at 10:05 AM
Living in Alaska I know all about Sarah Palin. She welcomed the troopergate investigation, now she is against it, she was for the bridge to nowhere, now she is against it, On Polar bears she said state scientists concluded they were not endangered, it came out that state scientist said they were endangered. She sold the jet on e-bay, she didn't sell it on e-bay, and she also sold it at a loss. She knew nothing about her people contacting the commish of public safety, or that her husband was using the gov's office to meet with him. She didn't know that Wasilla was charging rape victims for rape evidence kits. She is either lying, or the most incompetent politician around.
Posted by: Michael McKinnon | September 17, 2008 at 11:19 AM
science, when viewed as a belief, is a belief in logic or reason. those who reject science are necessarily illogical and unreasonable. as evidenced by her bizarre beliefs about dinosaurs, palin rejects science. she, and other evangelical christians like her, may be "good people," but they are illogical and unreasonable, and therefore ill-suited to make decisions for others.
Posted by: Morris Coil | September 17, 2008 at 11:21 AM
I am dying to see the pictures, too! How does one "dress up as Tina Fey" anyway - when she already looks like her?
Maybe those are fake glasses and she didn't start wearing them until after the halloween party when someone said, "Gee - you looked so SMART with those Tina Fey glasses! I bet you could get elected to Governor!"

Someone explain to me why there are so many comments insulting Sarah Palin for her Christian beliefs? What do you think Obama is, a Buddhist? HE GOES TO A CHRISTIAN CHURCH TOO!! And if he goes to a Christian church, then he must believe in creationism, which is a basic christian belief - it's the first line of the BIBLE! So why is Obama not being called an idiot for believing in it?
Posted by: Rick | September 18, 2008 at 11:59 AM
Sarah Palin was joking about that - OBVIOUSLY TO ANYONE WITH A BRAIN!!!
Posted by: Rick | September 18, 2008 at 12:01 PM
Some churches say that no one really knows how long a day was for God. His day could be billions of our days! Some people also believe that the bible should not be taken literally . We don't practice everything that was written in the bible: stoning, slavery, selling of ones daughter. If you are a Christian then you know Jesus did not believe in everything in the Old Testament.

Jay, you say, "It's funny how the media is tryin to imbue any kind of importance to the perfomance of an unknown comedian actress (at least I have never heard of tina fey)..."
The reason you don't know Tina Fey is because republicans don't recognize comedy (hello Dennis Miller). Your people don't understand funny (Fox's half Hour Comedy Hour), and it's a downright shame irony escapes you.
Posted by: HopeSpringsATurtle | September 18, 2008 at 06:50 PM
Ok ..this is just a distraction from the real issues. Let;s talk about MSNBC's being taken over by the left with continuos programming in favor of Obama. And of course, all of those talking head well paid by Obama's money that comes mainly from the likes of the Venezuelan dictator.
Posted by: Umberto Zanabria | September 18, 2008 at 11:47 PM
Rick , you said sarah was joking about Tina Fey. Well when Obama used, the lipstick on the pig statement every republican was stating, that he was using it toward Sarah Palin how funny. Umberto talking about left wing on MSNBC's have you taken a look at FOX's news i think its balance out. FOX's news never have nothing nice to say about Obama. When a guess do try to explain Obama views they are shut down from FOX's news so dont dare bring the favoritism game please. Did you see the interview with Hannity and Sarah Palin? it was like a long time love catching up and having dinner. LMAO
Posted by: Nelly | September 20, 2008 at 07:01 AM
It's actually true... Sarah Palin DID dress up as Tina Fey. Also, Barak Obama DID once dress up as Tim Meadows!
Posted by: Charlie Rocket | September 23, 2008 at 12:41 AM
First, it was likely a joke simply about the similarity in their appearance.
Second, why would dressing up as someone on Halloween be an insult? My daughter is dying to dress up as Hannah Montana this year- gasp! that must mean she thinks Hannah is a witch? I just don't get those comments.
Third, as far as dressing up as an adult, I have done so and I am a professional woman with a graduate degree. Halloween parties are often thrown for adults. If I looked very similar to a celeb, I think it would be fun to impersonate them on Halloween and would in no way be an insult.
I'm a registered Independent but I'm completely perplexed by this article and the negative comments. Give me a break!
