Kate Moss encourages her daughter Lila to sniff gasoline?

KatemossCelebrities are not just like us.

Need proof?

Supermodel Kate Moss leaves the car door open when she fills up her car so her daughter, Lila, 5, can get a nice big whiff of petrol.

She doesn't mind doing this because, to be quite frank, Moss likes the smell too.

Kate Moss admitted this when she was promoting her new fragrance, Velvet Hour.

“I’ve heard it is one of the most preferred scents in the world — maybe that’s something to study for my next fragrance." she tells The Sun.

I guess it could be worse. Could be airplane glue. Or Pete Doherty's arm pits.

Anyone else out there let their kids sniff gas for kicks?

Just checking ...

im sorry, but is that what passes for news? this is just silly, i cant believe somebody wasted money on an education to write this. whats the point of it?

I hate to say this, but as a child I would ask my dad to go with him to the gas station so that I could also smell the gas while he was putting gas in the car. Of course now I know better and the smell doesn't appeal to me at all. But the other day my 3 year old daughter and I were at a gas station and she commented that "Gas smells good." And yes, I do keep the car doors shut when pumping gas now, especially when I have my daughter with me.

Nothing smells as good as that ol' 'regular' gasoline! Smells edible.
