Tyra Banks pretends to be Michelle Obama in Harper's Bazaar

Tyra Banks, America's first lady? Please, no.

If the supermodel-turned-talk-show-hostess were ever living in the White House, her Secret Service code name would likely be taken from her most famous phrase "KMFA: Kiss My Fat A--."

Nice.

But in the upcoming issue of Harper's Bazaar, Banks plays Michelle Obama in a photo spread in a sleeveless black sheath, pearls and flippety 'do, standing next to a Barack Obama double, with a little girl playing under the presidential desk.

Seems Banks is a big Obama fan. "When Barack won the nomination, I just started bawling," Banks, 34, says in the issue (due out Aug. 19).

"So what gives me tears is if Barack Obama wins, kids are going to say that a black man can be president too," Banks says. “I think it will give so many people -– black, Latin, Asian, even white people that feel forgotten -– hope. I did not think I would see it in my lifetime, and I’m only 34.”

"With Barack Obama, his becoming president is them becoming president because Michelle was there from the beginning," Banks continues. "Without Michelle, he wouldn’t be there.”

The talk show host calls Michelle "one hot mama."

OK, can these reality TV celebrities just shut up now?

I think it's a joke and for Tyra to think this some kind of homage to Michelle Obama is disgusting. She was used and she thinks it's cute. I'm hoping that her career takes a hit for this..nothing funny about this at all.

Ahhh....isn't that sweet. Tyra and a whole bunch of Obama supporter's will have a huge slap in the face come the morning of Nov. 5th when your empty suit candidate and his ungrateful wife are tossed out on their ears!!!

Actors love to pretend, I see nothing wrong with the photos, they accurately portray someone pretending to be someone else who is pretending to be someone else. Nice photos.

There's nothing wrong with the photos. At first I thought it was wrong because it reminded me of when that one magazine portrayed Obama as a terroist, but I just read that Michelle told Tyra she loved the photos, so if the person themself likes it then no problem!
