Did Roseanne Barr blog 'drunk,' bash Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt?
Roseanne Barr might have been tippling the vino too much when she wrote those vicious Brangelina bashing blog posts this week.
On her blog, she's chastised everyone who wanted to see the $13-million photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's twins, saying that you are "only supporting aiding and abetting rupert murdoch's rightwing war machine empire."
And she wrote a rambling item attacking Angelina, Brad and and Angie's dad, Jon Voight.
"jon voight your evil spawn angelina jolie and her vacuous hubby brad pitt make about forty million dollars a year in violent psychopathic movies and give away three of it to starving children trying to look as if they give a crap about humanity as they spit out more dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the earth even more. (just sayin'). Also miss jolie says she likes mccain too and hasn't decided who to endorse....huh? Aren't you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the african daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the republican party's worldwide economic assault on africa over the last few decades since reagan?"
Naturally, the media quickly got wind of Roseanne's hot air. But rather than go on talk shows to discuss it, she's now blogging that she's all PO-ed over all the media interest in her Brangelina bashing posts. She's furious that they have ignored her other attacks on "howard dean, pumas, Obama, hillary, maureen dowd, bush, cheney, pelosi, congress, religion, capitalism and satan."
Apparently, she only recently turned anti-Angelina when she heard that Angie was, as she says on her blog, for 'insane mccain for potus."
OK, we just gotta ask. Do you think Roseanne is blogging drunk?
We're curious because A: her blog posts sound -- and look -- a bit boozy and reckless, like some angry, crazy old broad still sitting at the bar for last call.
And B: On Aug. 17, the day before she launched her Aug. 18 online tirade against the most charitable stars on the planet, she posted: "bit my cuticle, its infected. Must go to hospital to get it lanced. Must get drunk first."
What do you think? Does that explain it? Or maybe you agree with Roseanne about that "evil spawn" and her "vacuous hubby?" Anyone care for another glass of wine?

Should not one first endeavor to ascertain which of her umpteen purported personalities was responsible for the blog entry in question?

Roseanne Barr is as irrelevant as she is uninteresting and untalented.

If she's blogging drunk, then I'd like to buy her next cocktail because I think she's right. It's about time someone took down the fraudulent Brangelina Industrial Complex.

Hmm, you know, I wondered the same thing (what is the confusion over who to endorse), I guess not everyone wants a fresh start from the 8-year norm of inadequate healthcare reform to the AIDS epidemic in the US among African-Americans. Just thought it was odd coming from two people, from what I have read, will not get married until gays have right to be married in the US. FYI, I don't think McCain has that on his to-do list.

Yes,, she sure can sing a good National Anthem.

Drunk and crazy! Why does she think Angelina or anyone for that matter has to disclose their pick for president?I for one think hollywood needs to stay out of the presidential race.I say good for Angelina and Brad for keeping their pick private!

Roseanne Barr is an overweight, underachiever who wouldn't know class if it fell in her lap. I'm sorry Rosie, but how much do you give to charity, oh sorry got to have a career like them first - fat chance!

I don't know about the rest of America but I for one don't rely on celebrities for any of my decisions political or otherwise.I think if we all think for ourselves instead of reading so much what any celebrity has to say we would all be better off.

Hahahahahahahhaah I love Roseanne! This is going to make me go purchase "Roseanne" Season 1 on DVD.

She's a rambling drunk, poor girl, drinking herself into oblivion. Then again, what sort of condition are we all in when the thoughts of an inebriated Roseanne become national news?
Posted by: Polomoche | August 19, 2008 at 04:29 PM
I agree with Roseanne, to some extent. I feel that the whole Brangelina thing has become a commodity. A good marketing scheme. They are not stupid people. They have done well by marketing their relationship, their family additions, and their "eco" lives and world. I believe I've seen some photos that are not so eco friendly. They are renting a 35 bedroom house... um... is that not a HUGE waste of energy, electricity, water, etc.? Does leather not off-gas? I think I have seen sporting a lovely leather jacket. So many hypocritical comments made by this marketing team.

I thought Gene Simmons said it..!

No, I don't think she is "drunk" when posting, she is fed up... but why her comments get attention and ours do not (even when ours are not talking A list) is more of a surprise to me. Dear Roseanne does get that we are under dictatorship rule and she (like some of us in the GOP) don't want another dictator. How else can you drive that point at this stage and remain calm?

I wasn't going to vote for either of the candidates. But after hearing this crazy idiot I'll probably vote for McCain.
Some people actually care about issues rather than just shallow appearences. McCain has a stonger position on the Darfur crisis. Perhaps some people care more about that than Obama's empty suit speeches.

Dictatorship rule, JB the Hut? My grandfather died in a Nazi Germany Concentration camp, you really want to compare Bush to Hitler? Why dont you move to North Korea and see just how much better they have it than us. GIVE ME A BREAK...like spoiled little kids that just love to complain and dont know how good they have it. Roseanne,. If you dont have anything nice to day, dont say anything at all.. Roseanne needs to realize that our ENTIRE GOVERNMENT is failing us, both Democrats and Republicans alike, and it's not like any independent or Green or whatever candidate will be any different. You want to make a change then run for office and be moral. Otherwise, SHUT UP with your insults.

.Remember what happened last time when all these damn celebs supported John Kerry?
I think Angelina is doing the right thing by staying mum and saying that she is going to learn about both candidates before voting time.
Posted by: HMM | August 19, 2008 at 06:40 PM
She's not drunk, she wanted publicity slandering the most famous couple in the world. She is blaming Brad and Angelina for that and she is not different.

Finally, someone is saying what others are thinking and talking about around the world.
Did anyone see "Wanted". It was beyond disgusting. Violence too graphic to watch, with no redeeming value whatsoever. The star power in that movie was the most miuse of talent I've seen in long time. Rosanne is right. Many years ago women were tar and feathered bringing children into the world out of wedlock, and their children were called "BASTARDS". When did our world start
rewarding these children with million dollar paychecks. One would think that these two "beautiful people" were having children just to cash in. I think that Saten is preparing a very big place for them for destroying so many confused people into believing this is a commendable lifestyle.
What goes around comes around. Their not going to be popular forever, and their payback has to be around the corner. Please God. Thanks
Rosanne. You obviously learned your lesson about " what we leave behind is all we can take with us."

I GUESS WHEN YOUHAVE NOTHING GOING FOR YOU AND THE MEDIA DOESN'T COVER YOU ANYMORE..
THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET NOTICED AND BACK TO THE PUBLIC EYE..
JEALOUS????

Uh, sorry to interrupt you jealous do-nothing c*nts with the facts, but Angelina NEVER said she was voting for McCain. That was Roseanne's delusions, bitter bile, and insanity talking. Angelina sits on the boards of the Clinton Global Coalition and is a UNHCR Ambassador who has walked the walk for 8 years now. She doesn't need to preen and pose and announce who she's voting for - the same people who are scrambling to KNOW are the EXACT same haters who would attack her if she announced it. So shut the f*ck up, ya dumb sh*ts. You know the internet exists for a reason - to fact check dumb blowhards who have a tendency to spread lies & falsehoods. Someone ASKED her at Cannes, who she was voting for, she said she would look at the candidates, and based on issues IMPORTANT TO HER, she would cast her vote. She said she was an independent. My guess is, since she sponsors bills, funds bills out of her own pocket, and gets bills signed into law - her issues and projects are more important to her tthan stumping for a candidate or a party. She works on BOTH sides of the aisle, and has lobbied on the hill for more than 5 years now with regards to different issues (genocide in Darfur, Minor refugees, Iraq refugees, etc.) to get shiit DONE. Jolie has had bills signed into law, tthe most recent aids minors in this country who have no support, and who are refugees from war torn countries. Angelina and Brad Pitt given 8 million to drs without borders, Darfur refugees, children of war in Iraq, and military children here in the U.S. Plus she's given over 1/3rd of her income away for the last 5 years. She sits on the Council on Foreign Relations. What the f**k have YOU done lately??!! Or any of the other useless worthless do-nothing celebrities who spend their cash at the salon and at Girls Gone Wild Joe Francis' Meh-hi-co compound, and spend the rest of their time assaulting the f*ck outta the public with horrifically bad sh*tty romcoms??? So yeah, I'm sorry - but some of you jealous hater b*tches can just continue to get annoyed at Brad Pitt building homes for Katrina flood victims, and Angelina funding aid for Darfur genocide victims...so sorry it irks the f**k out of you - I tend to get annoyed looking at Heidi Montag, Paris Hilton, and Nicole Richie staring back at me from the checkout line magazine slot for no f**king reason at all...you can get annoyed at Oscar winning humanitarians saving lives. I personally think I have a reason, while YOU are just sick twisted jealous WORTHLESS c*nts, but that's just me.

I completely agree. Our individual right to choose our candidate and to vote accordingly is sacred. So is our right to keep our choice private.

Roseanne, the babbling psychopath, needs to quit endorsing Obama if her goal is for him to win. An endorsement from Roseanne is worse than an endorseman from Osama bin Laden. People are going to start wondering about Obama, if people like Barr are the kinds of people he attracts.

Well done Roseanne!!!
You tell it like it is! Stand your ground and dont let Brangelina act like modern day saints without exposing them. The media should be doing the same, but since when do we hear the truth being broadcast- rarely ever!
Thanks for the breath of fresh air Roseanne!

Roseanne has exploited the media, become rich from the media and been seriously critical of how the media treated her when she WAS a star on t.v. She is not one to judge other celebrities, or to use her own celebrity to sensationalize her judgments. Bratt Pitt and Angelina have been models of people who care about inhumanity and judgment of others and they have taken action to correct that. And Roseanne should really not exploit her own judgments, particularly of Jon Voight. He's an incredible actor. She should sit and watch "Coming Home," and learn about acting.

I think it's about time someone says what a lot of us are thinking. Can't be more sick and tired of hearing about their goodness, when I personally think the two of them are missing a sensitivity chip in regards to the former Mrs. Brad Pitt having to see them everywhere, and ooooooh on everything, with their ooooooh wonderful adoptive family. Funny how Mia Farrow did the same thing, but very quietly, and discreetly.
