Jennifer Aniston to shove '30 Rock' in John Mayer's face
Nothing like a well-timed rebound.
Instead of drifting into the arms of a new man, newly single Jennifer Aniston might be seeking the girl power magic of one Tina Fey. E! Online reports that the actress could return to NBC this fall in an episode of workplace comedy "30 Rock."
"She is shooting now," a source tells E! "We are not giving any specifics on her character."
This news gives us faith that Jen's finally developing good taste. "30 Rock" is the smartest comedy on TV, better than her last movie, "The Break-Up," and certainly better than John Mayer, who recently spouted this bit of gobbledygook to gathered press members in defense of Aniston:
"If you guys are going to run stuff and run every lie under the sun, have somebody stand up for somebody. Have me as a man who ended a relationship stand here and write some truth. Have me stand up for somebody and write that Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I've ever met.... I don't do 'the taper.' I guarantee you [that] 20 percent of the people on this street right now who are in a relationship wish they could get out but they don't know how. And I'm going to be honest on the way into my relationships and I'm going to be honest on the way out of my relationships."
Thanks, John, but no thanks.
Aniston's appearance would follow the very funny role of her "Friends" alumni David Schwimmer, who played NBC's arrogant environmental mascot Greenzo last season.
It might even finally win her some Emmy love: This year, "30 Rock" is up for seven guest-acting nominations, including ones for Rip Torn, Will Arnett, Steve Buscemi, Tim Conway, Carrie Fisher, Edie Falco and Elaine Stritch.

Why is it every time this woman dates it is a "relationship" and every time she stops dating someone she needs to "rebound" .?
BTW she is not a girl she is a forty year old woman.

Well, goodie for her. Take a day off, me thinks John is pretty happy as well. She was probably boring him to death about her relationship with you-know-who. No matter what, women are always viewed as 'wronged' and men are viewed as scum. Yep, women are quite sexist and gender biased.

Why is it that everytime she dates someone, marriage has to follow and why is it a big deal when it does not work? These are normal everyday happenings. Media always show her as poor Jen but she's not. She has managed to go thru a divorce so why not a break-up? So, far she has shown a classy attitude to all the bad media reports and that's what's admirable with her. Maybe, if the media will leave her alone when she dates someone, something would develop into a real beautiful relationship. How does the media know about how she feels and what she is thinking? For all we know, she probably does not really want to get married again. There's really not a lot of guys in Hollywood that are good men.

The PR boyfriend Tactics got called out by the New York Magazine, publicly humiliating her exposing her FRAUD. That was SO embarrassing. So yes, take the advice of just about everyone--go back to TV where you belong. That movie star thing was never meant to be. Too bad she lost Brad Pitt over that unrealistic ambition.

Good for her. Her management team is finally earning it's money. the "realtionship" angle didn't work, so it's now time for her to return tv (i guess cable didn't count). TV made her a star (even though it was an ensemble cast). Maybe they can develop a series for her to star in playing a 40 yr old divorcee with constant relationship issues looking for love...oh wait.

what do you mean finally help her win some emmy love? She won an emmy and was nominated like five hundred times... (ok it was like four or five times) but still... And who wants her to go back to t.v? maria... I'm sorry hon but speak for yourself... not EVERYONE... that's a hell of alot of people...

Why all the bashing of this girl? I don't get it. She isa somewhat talented, cute and funny actress. She is certainly a better actress than Cameron Diaz-the highest paid actress in Hollywood right now.
She has done a fair amount of stage work and was very good on Saturday night live when she hosted-not an easy show to do.

You guys really need to get a life. I don't normally respond to these things but after reading all of your unnecessary comments about this woman, whom I'm sure did NOT write this report about HERSELF, I had to add my two cents. Why down her? Why tell her to get a life or talk about her not being able to keep a man? I'm sure she doesn't want any of us in her personal life just as we wouldn't if we were in her shoes. So, maybe its not her that needs to "get a life" its all of you need to get out of her life and let her live it, make mistakes and bad choices like a normal, real person. Wow! Heaven forbid she reads these things. I hope she's strong enough not to let the comments of bored, judgemental people make her feel bad. If by chance she should read these blog things, keep your head up Jennifer. Some of us appreciate your craft and respect your right to have a PRIVATE personal life, despite being in the spotlight. Love ya Jen.
