It ain't World Championship Wrestling, but it's kinda fun to watch Danica Patrick confront Indy racing's other female driver, Milka Duno, about being a slowpoke, old lady driver during Saturday's Honda Indy 200 practice session.
According to reports, Patrick marched over to the Dreyer & Reinbold Racing pit stall after Saturday morning's practice session to complain that Duno did not let faster cars - including Patrick's - get past her.
Video of the confrontation shows Duno telling Patrick to "go away" several times and throwing a towel in Patrick's face. Hey now!
Did anyone see this happen? Did you watch the practice session? Who was right and who was wrong? And who's gonna cut whose brake lines?
And have you seen Danica's Sports Illustrated swimsuit shots? Wow.
Milka was definitely in the wrong. She kept 'cutting off' other drivers that were much faster than her during practice. She could have caused alot of damage by being a brat not wanting people to pass her. Danika was a bigger person than I would have been...I'd have snatched her over the wall and gave her plastic surgeon something else to work on!!!

Notice how Danica didn't get up in Milka's face like she does the guys? Little brat (Danica) would have got what she deserved if she had. She's nothing but a spoiled brat.

I am certainly no Duno fan, can't see how she mantains her license to race, But during every practice session and race I've monitored I hear constant complaining from the other drivers about Danica. She cannot hold her line, she forced drivers into the wall, and she also refused to move over for faster traffic or even the leaders. In Texas when Vitor Mira was leading they asked a slower driver to give the inside, no problem, Danica was exiting the pits, when asked for the inside she flatly refused!!

Danica is WRONG. She is NOT a race official, and it is not her job to reprimand other drivers IF they deserver it.
If this were a man doing this, he would have been suspended before the ink dried on the story. The only reason this is allowed is because the IRL stupidly believes that Danica will save them. Ha!
Milka is way better looking, smart (naval engineer), and was a real model. Your days are numbered Danica, and you obviously know it.
Oh yea, typepad's capthca sucks. Only a fool has scripting turned on in IE.

she had a towel thrown not once, but TWICE to her face. how danica didn't lay the smack down is beyond me. she deserves kudos for not being a tardlet and having her crew back her up or by saying "go away." milka, deal with it like an ADULT and stop hating.

Isn't this a case of the pot calling the kettle "black"? Danica calls Milka "slow". Maybe so but Danica you need to look in the mirror. You qualified 20th of 26 in unarguably much superior equipment with the best drivers setting the car up for her (Kannan, Andretti).
Danica is working her way down the latter when it comes to yelling at her competitors. She started with Weldon then he beat her like a drum at every race then Brisco and he went on to wins at Mil and MidOhio now Duno. Once Milka starts kicking her butt she will have to start yelling at the pace car driver.
Danica go back to the lesser formula, win a race (something you were unable to do before the IRL) then come back. Unfortunately, that will never happen because I don’t think you can win a race in a lesser Formula.

IMHO, Milka was wrong. She way overreacted. Danica was just asking a simple question, "Did you see me?" Milka was the one who started yelling and throwing the towel. Danica remained relatively calm. Milka knew she was slow, and she should've moved over. Driving like Milka was, can get one or both of the drivers killed. All Milka had to do was admit that she was wrong, and say sorry. Also, men fight all the time, but it never gets this much attention. The only reason this is getting as much attention as it is, is because it's Danica Patrick. Everytime she gets angry, people call her a whiny B***. It seems like she just can't catch a break. As for Danica making a show, the cameras follow her wherever she goes. Pretty soon, they're going to start following her to the bathroom, I highly doubt that Danica said to the cameraman, "Hey I'm going to go confront Milka. Why don't you follow me so you can film it and out it on tv?"

Take it from someone who has met Danica in person. She is a totally self absorbed super brat! She barely gave her fans a hello or smile during a meet and greet by a certain big sponsor. The organization should discuss her habit of going to the pits of other drivers to state her complaints. Eventually she may be slapped in the face by a female driver because as far as we have seen the male drivers just stand there and take her crap. Doesn't look like the equality she has been crying about and I'm a woman. Just type in Patrick and Maxim and you will see what a classy lady she is. Milka has yet to part her legs for a photo op and she was a former model. Danica would have gotten more than a towel in her face from me. She has no right to cross over to a racers pit to whine about her losses. I am sure this will not be America's biggest baby's last time in another racer's territory.

patrick is embarrasing...per previous poster...i looked at the photos and either she sucks as a model or the photographer should be fired...she looks awkward...the photos are corny...ya, lets wear driving gloves with a bikini at the beach - how dumb is that??? VERY.

I think the whole incident was contrived by Danica... this is great for ratings! These two should have a catfight every month on the Indy Tour and people will start watching.
If these two were to do a cage match on Pay per view, I would definitely subscribe... especially if they both agreed to do it with swimsuits or bedtime attire.

Personally, I find Danica to be overrated. What is go great about her record? Milka seems to be taking away the spotlight and perhaps Danica doesn't like it.

Well the fact that about half the comments here (and this seems to reflect Danica Patrick comments anywhere on the web) mention one woman being better looking than the other would tell me she's giving the public all of the mature and serious trackside behaviour it expects.
Yes she's been a willing participant by posing in magazines, but without paying readers that magazine wouldn't be on the racks.
I don't recall any talk about the legendary AJ Foyt being "hawtter" than the fellow drivers he confronted in his heyday.
I'm just asking why we're complaining that she's delivering what we seem to be requesting....

Danika, If you already know that a person has a history of being emotionally unbalanced and unable to settle a dispute in a adult manner, you don't waste your time trying to get your point across. Follow protocol in handling matters about the rules of the road and move on. Just do what you went there to do, WIN! Milka, put your big girl panties on, and stop it.

Danica showed alot of self-restraint. I would have punched Milka for throwing a towel in my face. Milka doesn't know what she is doing out there and will get someone killed. She needs to quit. Danica is great and I am hoping she will get her second win this year!

ok first of all, danica sucks, anyone who thinks shes a good racer is sadly mistaken. she has done absolutely nothing in her career. she managed 1 flukey win in one of the best cars in the field. other than that she has done nothing. she gets her fame because shes an attractive girl in a sport that does not have many women in the top racing series. milka still needs to adjust, she's used to driving endurance sports cars and not open wheel sprint races. so give her some time.
also, anyone who thinks milka is euro trash needs to shut up, ignorance makes u look stupid. venezuela is not in europe.
lastly, there is a reason why danica didnt do anything, simply put, milka would have destroyed her. on top of which, danica prefers to just scream, yell and pout instead of actually doing anything productive and she certainly wouldnt get in a fight.

With most of these comments here, it's blatantly obvious bias is behind the choice of words. How about focusing on the real issue. One driver's driving slower than the majority of the field. That is THE issue. For 'my opinion', if you google this info you'll find more complaints concerning Duno for the same thing. All personality preferences aside, did you 'Danica' flamers not watch her body language? She kept her hands together, created a space to talk and tried to communicate with Duno. Obviously if Duno felt like she did nothing wrong she would've defended herself as most people would if they'd felt they'd done nothing wrong other than telling her to go away. Both of these racers would be offended by the ridiculous comments here about one thinking the other's prettier. And lastly, Danktrees you're the last person who should be throwing insults. You joining the crowd doesn't make you look any brighter and lessened any impact of your statement. One day (and hopefully soon) I'll learn to quit reading comments. It's saddening to see some of the 'people' we live with. What's the World come too when you have to trash people to make yourself feel better. peace

It still amazes me. Does no one ever see racing as a job?
These people are working. It is a job. If someone that worked in your office or company did something stupid that affected your bottom line, would you be pissed? Don't lie and say you wouldn't. Racers complain about racers all the time. In fact, this Indy Car season has been full of karma. Briscoe complains about Danica, and put her out of the Indy 500, and he had a few bad races after that. Dixon accused her of blocking, and he spun his car under yellow behind the pace car and took Briscoe with him. She's only won one race?!?! So what. Vitor Meira has started over 80 Indy races and never won. IMO, Milka is too slow, and she need not be on the track when she if so far off the pace...this usually includes Marty Roth, and some of the others as well.

What a poor excuse for a driver that Milka is. This would be a good time for her license to be pulled before she hurts herself or someone. Danica has a right to confront a driver that handles their car dangerously on the track or causes a danger to her and/or others when it happens.
I say Milka should go back to her village in Venezuela, hug Chavez, her communist sponsor and forget about coming back to the USA.
