Nicole Kidman gives birth to a daughter, Sunday Rose
Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman's little girl -- named Sunday Rose Urban -- was born in Nashville this morning.
<>Sunday? Well, I guess it's better than being named Blue Monday. Besides, like the old rhyme goes:
"Monday's Child is fair of face.
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
Wednesday's child is full of woe.
Thursday's child has far to go.
Friday's child is loving and giving.
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay."
The baby weighed 6 pounds, 7.5 ounces. Nicole was a regular at Hollywood spin classes and did yoga throughout her pregnancy.
>The couple's spokesman, Paul Freundlich, made the announcement this morning, saying the couple was "delighted" and that "husband Keith was by Nicole's side, and mother and baby are very well."
Congrats, Nic and Keith!
OK, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. You're up next!

Yes, Elizabeth, we know that she did spining classes all through her pregnancy, she even jogged, took long walks and did Yoga so what is your point? In every single article on her pregnancy that you have written, there you are droning on about spinning. What did you do when you were pregnant? stuff yourself silly on food and then go for long walks?
It is good to see a pregnant woman keep herself in shape during her pregnancy and not wait until after only to start whining about how shifting the baby weight was so hard.
Congratulations to the Urbans, for Kidman, this baby has been a long time coming.
Sunday Rose, nobody ever went wrong by being nicknamed "Sunny".

Ms. Snead:
Actually, according to the "old saying," it's Tuesday's child that's full of grace. Here's the poem:
Monday's child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go.
Friday's child is loving and giving,
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child born on the Sabbath Day,
Is fair and wise and good and gay.

Hey, sleek raven?
I make note that she worked out while pregnant for the same reason many other blogs INCLUDING PEOPLE (follow the link in the post) do. It's news.
FYI: I'm an avid spinner (frequently sit a few bikes in front of Nicole in spin class) and am totally in favor of women working out while pregnant.
So get off my schwinn, will ya? You're preaching to the choir here.

What an ugly name!!!! God forbid it look like her, cause the ugly name will go with the ugly face and body and personality!

I thought Kidman was adorable when she had her freckled face and corkscrew red hair. This look is alien.
Who cares about her crazy exercise routine during her pregnancy. We all know that this has nothing to do with health and everything to do with looks and OCD.

Congratulations to both Nicole and Keith. The seventh of July is the Orthodox Name Day --Sunday, written in greek as Kyryiaki.
