It had to happen: Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston will finally get to duke it out.
Both actresses have big movies opening on Oct. 24: Angelina's "Changeling" and Jennifer's "He's Just Not That Into You."
But "Into You" also stars other appealing actors such as Scarlett Johansson, Ginnifer Goodwin, Drew Barrymore, her boyfriend Justin Long, Jennifer Connelly and Ben Affleck. Aniston plays Affleck's love interest in the adaptation of the bestselling relationship book that's also become part of the modern cultural vernacular. Director Clint Eastwood's period mystery, "Changeling," also stars John Malkovich and Amy Ryan, and already created Oscar buzz for Jolie at the Cannes Film Festival.
My bet? Jennifer will win the box-office battle and Angelina may end up with a little gold Oscar statue.
And the other thing to consider is that movie opening dates often change. Plus "Changeling" is not opening wide until Oct 31.

Changeling sounds infinitely more interesting, but I think your predictions are pretty likely.

There is really no comparison. Jolie is a major film star and is never "uninteresting". Aniston is a good sit-com actress who makes forgettable romantic comedies. Apples, oranges.

Ridiculous comparison, Changeling will open as a limited release - how can you even compare these two films?

High School Musical by Disney will win the weekend....HJNTIY is an ensemble-to call it a Jen movie is silly!!!But HJNTIY is the one I'd go see-it has a great cast!!!

It may not be cool to say, but Aniston is the better actress. Jolie has made a career of her body, image, orphan collecting, high-profile husband stealing, and squinting pout. To quote PE: "don't believe the hype."

Would rather see Jennifer Aniston. Jolie is so predictable and boring in her desire to be "different". Also, you can see that she is acting - she is not very good. Aniston is the better actor.

It's like pizza and filet mignon...more people will see Aniston (pizza), but the filet (Angelina) will be far more satisfying.

How "Hiigh School" of you to make such a ridiculous comparison. Jennifer Aniston is not carrying her movie! And Angelina's movie is in limited release. Why can't Jen duke it out against Brad at the box office instead ?? Then we will see who has the real star power!! Women like you are the enemy of strong women like Angelina when you pit (no pun intended) other women against each other. You and US Weekly use every opportunity to still compare these two in every way but what is obvious to the public. Angelina has already won the smack down, currently at 4-0....soon to be 6-0.

I'm hoping the best for Jen in this one. Moving from TV to the film industry is virtually impossible and she's making it happen... it's just a slow process.
Angelina on the other hand IS a good actress, regardless of what some say; however, I do think she's overrated.
I hope Jen knocks that skinny bi-ach right off the pedistool she truly doesn't deserve. If Jen can't do it alone... Jen give me a call, I'd be glad to widen her nose for you.

Jen is best all around, Better Actress, much better looking, seems nicier like the girl next door. Jolie looks like a puffer fish, she's all head and lips and she can't act to save her life. She might look like a Puffer fish but acts like a shark. Can't stand her.

Both movies look good in their own right, two different genres can play together as we 've seen w/SITC if it's quality, the women will show. Let's be honest, neither actress is Meryl Streep or their age group's version, Cate Blanchett, and have a certain degree of range tailored much to their own presonality and strengths. Aniston does better with more comedic fair (good comedic timing) but has shown dramatic chops with the Good Girl, Friends w/Money, while Jolie does better w/action ie Wanted, Tomb Raider but showed little more in MH (although slightly miscaast). I'd see both eventually if they last past a week in the theatre. BTW, stop pitting actresses against each other. They have enough problems just trying to get more interesting projects made.

Jolie is, in all honesty, over-rated. She just has that one moody, pouty way of acting, but she sure thinks highly of herself...
I'm not saying Aniston is a better actress. She's just much more natural, more diverse, and especially, more likable. I will see her movie, if only to show my support.

Jennifer so talented? Only she can ever play are romantic comedy roles, its all like her Friends character. Angelina is convincing in everything she does and that's alot. In my opinion, if Jennifer didn't got to play Rachel in Friends and never married Brad Pitt people wouldn't even see her as movie star. I choose for Angelina's movie definitely!

I truly do not understand these comments about Jen Aniston being the better actress. Have you seen her movies? She showed promise early in her career but never followed through, choosing to be a (wealthy) celebrity rather than a real actress. She truly cannot be compared to Angelina, who has great range. For reference, watch Girl, Interrupted and A Mighty Heart. Incredible performances.

oh please... angelina is way better at acting and takes on very serious and different roles. and Aniston on the other hand, its always silly forgettable romcoms.. however I believe Jen's movie will do much better at the box office and Angie just might earn herself yet another Oscar nomination. Angie will have the last laugh.

I do believe, you will not win your bet on the box office.. your concept is based, Not on Anniston alone but the cast that are in the movie. And I agree it is a great cast.. You might think about it for a moment, its the same old story for Jennifer. "The girlfriend". Sorry, but I disagree, I believe Angelina will walk away with the prize.
