Jamie Lynn Spears' baby has a full head of hair. And her daddy's toes.
New mom Jamie and daddy Casey Aldridge and baby Maddie Briann are resting up in McComb, Miss., just across the state line from the Spears' family home in Kenwood, La.
According to People, Jamie Lynn and her family got a police escort home when they left the hospital last week. Better get used to it, Maddie!
But after the birth, relatives took turns holding the baby, commenting on her features. When new grandmom Joyce Aldridge held Maddie, she remarked that Maddie "has Casey's toes," the source told People.
What that means, I'm not sure. But there must be something pretty unusual or specific about Casey's toes. Long and crooked? Short and stubby? Webbed? Or maybe it was just a family joke.
Jamie Lynn, 17, and Casey, 19, plan to marry but no date has been announced. Jamie Lynn recently purchased a home in nearby Liberty, Miss., where she and Casey have been living for about three weeks.
We cannot wait to see the baby pix! Show us those baby toes!

I do not think people should judge her. As long as she takes on the resposibilty of being a mother and doing what is best for her child that is all people should care about. yes she 17, however there alot of other 17 years olds having kids and it doesnt make it right, but maybe she can take on that as a role model and use her name to make a difference for other young adults and the choice they make.

Alright its not a mistake at all, children are not mistakes, they are blessings.
Not saying that its right to have children and such a young age, but she has money family, and the father, what more does she need to make it right, years on her birthday? get real, and get use to the fact that this isnt the last teen thats going to give birth.

i wish jamie and casey the best of luck raising thier probly gorgeous baby.teens always have children at a very young age and the only reason that people are saying anything is becasue your rich and famous and pretty. i think that jamie lynn speaars is a great romodel for kinds and teens all across america and this preganency made it better because children can c what will happen and take precoutions

Check this out. No 16 year old should not have a kid, I don't care who you are. Jamie Lynn Spears is not a good role model for todays kids. Remember how old she is, 16 people. Sure, she has tons of money but that doesn't mean that she is ready mentally to take care of another life. If she were my daughter, I'd make her get an abortion or kick her out of my house.

People need to leave this girl alone.
She is certianly NOT the first teen mother and she wont be the last.
She has money to dote and nannies at her call for her daughter, Maddie.
And she seems to be acting on maturity beyond her years. And has shown more then those of her celebrity peers and peers, in that way.
People never freaked out when Keisha Castle-Hughes got pregnant, who was 16 when she learned she was pregnant and 17 when her daughter was born.
So what if her baby has her dads toes?
I have my mothers looks and my fathers eye shaped....Like seriously. So what if this child looks like its parents, its called genetics...DNA.
Aside from that, I think Jamie-Lynn Spears is doing the right thing and she shouldnt listen to the negative comments made by people WHO HAVEN'T had a child at a young age, to understand how hard it is then those a bit older.
And no child is a mistake, its a mistake to think that way. Unplanned. . The child was unplanned.
I was unplanned and my parents still love me. And I know Maddie's parents love her.

This is for a prev. post from Jamel Tyler. It had said something about if it was their daughter, they would have made her have an abortion, or kicked her out of the house. Yes she is young and now has a child, so what. But so does alot of other teen girls. Some of those teens have parents that will support their child no matter what, and that is great! But others like yourself unfortunatly do not support their kids, and so many young girls that do get pregnant is from lack of self esteem bc of a bad, unloving parents, sounding like yourself. Those girls wind up doing bad this as a result of a "bad family". Getting pregnant, doing drugs, etc. So I think you need to back up and think about some of the things that you have said!
