Gina Gershon and Angelina Jolie hired the same lawyers?

Is it just a coincidence that Lavely & Singer, the law firm that sent out letters to media outlets Monday about Angelina Jolie's false birth announcement, is the same firm that's handling Gina Gershon's legal action against Vanity Fair's Bill Clinton story?

You know, the story that seems to imply that Clinton's aides were bothered by rumors of an affair between the actress and former President Clinton during his wife's bid for the Democratic nomination for president?

Anyway, this is the same busy firm that also recently demanded that a Florida radio station kill promotions featuring unflattering photos of Britney Spears. Yeah, like there are any others lately.

And they've handled legal-scrape cases for Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kelsey Grammer, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Jim Carrey, Demi Moore, Roseanne Barr, Eddie Murphy and Celine Dion.

Call me crazy, many have, but I don't think Gina should be all that upset about the Vanity Fair piece. Frankly, it's more publicity than the actress has ever gotten.
