Will 'Gossip Girl' do the Hamptons next season? Of course, darling

As we await the cliffhanger Monday, what's the scoop on the new season of "Gossip Girl"?

LAT Show Tracker Enid Portuguez has the scoop on a full 24-episode season, and we quote: "That’s practically six months of backstabbing bitchery and headbands!"

And here's a juicy bit of gossip from a GG fansite: On the set of "Entourage," Leighton Meester is filming a guest star spot (she plays Justine Chapin). There she revealed that the second season of "Gossip Girl" will shoot in the Hamptons.

" 'Cause you gotta go to the Hamptons, right? And by the way, we aren’t shooting in Staten Island like they did on 'Sex and the City,' Meester giggled. "We’re shooting in the real Hamptons!"

BTW, OMG, they're hooked on "Gossip Girl" in ... Ireland?
