Why is Kate Hudson's hair BLUE?

What is going on with Kate Hudson?

First, she's jetting around the world, going to parties in New York, Texas, Cannes and Monaco with her new dude, Tour de France-winning ladies' man Lance Armstrong.

Now she's wearing a blue wig? Looks a bit like Kate Winslet in "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind."

OK, apparently the punky color's for a role in her new film, "Bride Wars." (Uh-oh, we smell another vaguely amusing rom-com). At some time, in between all the global photo-ops with Lance, she's shooting this bridal yarn on location in New York.

Somehow we don't think Lance has a thing for punky blue-haired girls. Let's hope he overlooks it or the new "relationship" may be over faster than you can say "yellow jersey."
