Sharon Stone goes Greek at the GLAAD Awards
Maybe Madonna had a previous engagement, because presenting an award to Rufus Wainwright at last night's GLAAD awards was Sharon Stone in a heavy, pleated Grecian goddess gown that made her faboo figure look droopy and pudgy.
Stone's short frizzled hair, no doubt meant to be Helen of Troy-inspired, looked more like an ode to Medusa.
Maybe that's why Stone seemed a little peevish when Wainwright jokingly lifted the hem of her gown to check for panties (or the lack thereof).
Get it? "Basic Instinct?" The infamous leg-crossing scene?
Yeah, Sharon didn't think it was very funny or original either.
So what's your appraisal of Sharon's ancient Greek get-up?

The reason that Rufus lifted the hem of Sharon's dress was that she had said he had better legs than she did. He was confirming the truth of her claim. It had nothing to do with Basic Instinct (on all sorts of levels).
