According to Access Hollywood, that is an engagement ring Mimi has been sporting lately.
She and Nick Cannon are engaged!
Mariah's first stroll down the aisle was with Tommy Mottola. Nick's been around the engagement block previously with a Victoria's Secret model.
Hey, wait. Mariah's 38 and Nick's only 27!
That qualifies the diva an official Cougar status!

Perhaps it makes no difference that Mariah "Mimi" Carey is 11 years older than Nick Cannon, given the multitude of rainbows, hearts ‘n flowers, and happy clown paintings (not to mention the world’s largest collection of unicorn paintings and knickknacks) that adorn her cheerful home, all of which present Miss Carey as something of a developmentally arrested adolescent much like her fiancé, whose own boyish enthusiasms include gold chains of a caliber usually associated with sea anchors and baseball caps pointed in every direction but forward… Or perhaps, like much of America, Mr. Cannon simply cannot resist the image of Miss Carey strolling about her palatial estate in nothing more than her bra and panties!

Why this double standard? We see older men with younger women all the time and I am not talking about Katie Holmes and Tom Crusie. Brad Pitt is 11 years older than Angelina Jolie. If it were 27 year women with 38 year man no would care.

She is gorgeous and way to good for him. He needs to be dating a Jessica Alba type of girl and she needs to be dating a George Clooney who can wine and dine and take her to the Met not Disneyland.
