CSI star Gary Dourdan busted on suspicion of drug possession
"CSI" star Gary Dourdan was popped in Palm Springs for suspicion of possessing illegal substances heroin, cocaine, ectasy and prescription drugs, it's being reported.
Law officials told TMZ that they found Dourdan asleep in his car at 5:21 a.m. Monday and then found the substances.
Gary made bail and was released. Let's hope it's not true. But if it is, let's hope he gets help.

Perhaps all the drugs explain that mucked up doo, which he better cut before the police check it for drug residue.
Gary do your drugs at home!

He's been acting bizarre on the streets for awhile. Drunk, drugged, angry and combative.
Actors and rehab go together. Can CSI Vegas move on without his character, likely.
I miss that show often.

I guess he had to replace his gambling addiction with something.

Doesn't seem to make any difference with the clebs. It just goes on & on. Let him go, he'll say he will go to rehab for a few days and all is OK. Let him make more millions so he will have more to spend on lawyers and drugs. Ha-Ha!

The question everybody should be asking is what gave them the probable cause to search the vehicle in the first place?I mean here is a guy ,that just maybe got behind the wheel and decided he shouldn't drive, so he did the right thing . Didn't he ? Then along come the cops and reward him by searching his car. I don't claim to know all the facts in the case, but I do know a lot of these cops are out of control and they don't always follow the rules , especially when it comes to probable cause and searches. They conduct a search with no probable cause and if they don't find anything, oh well "no harm no foul", but if they do, they just make up the probable cause. Depending on what they find everybody thinks your a scumbag and no longer care about your rights. Well they should! The police should, if anything, be held to a higher standard than the rest of us, but are often allowed to make up the rules as they go, and when it's your word against theirs - Guess who they believe? "A nation that gives up liberty for safety deserves neither"

Obviously, if he was able to make bail, then the amounts of "illegal" substances did not amount to "sale" wieght. If these reports are true, he needs serious help; and right now!

Definitely, I would like to know how the police had the legal right to search his car. This has nothing to do with my attitude about the inadviseablility of drugs, but I am seriously worried that we seem to be moving toward a police state. I am alarmed how so few seem to question reported incidents like this, where the rules governing police searches are not even addressed in a media article. If police aren't held to account for possible lawlessness on their account, it could someday negatively impact any one of us.

I think he was framed.
I will conduct my own scientific analysis of the
'substances' and give my report to the DA's office.
Naturally, whatever happens in California, will not always fly in Nevada.

Always trying to beat the brother down. I think he did this on the show with a hooker and got in trouble. The shame of it all. Oh wait a minute-he makes big bucks so this won't be a problem. How about a infomercial on what not to do. That should do it.

Is it a coincidence that they are airing a Warrick pill popping episode as I type this?

Life immitating art.
He is leaving the show (fired last week) and he says it is to "pursue other interests."
Now we know what they were.
The theme of his last crisis on the show was drug abuse. Ironic.

Maybe that's why they didn't renew his contract. Boy that's a bunch of stuff to be doing all at once. Maybe he's suicidal.

his car was parked on the wrong side of the street in the wrong direction. that was probable cause.

My man, this is your fan all the way from Africa, Nigeria to be precise. Want you to know you have touched the lives of people around the world especially people you will never know. Just want you to face what is coming to you and also to pick yourself up because you are not a failure. A lot of people would kill to be where you are, so dont let go of anything you have worked your entire life for. Wish you the best in all. Cheers mate

I have been let down by the police and we are living in police states in America . By CBS and all others concernd . Many actors fine drugs and have gone to rehab a many of times but they arn't fired.
I guess they don't want people to watch the shows any more. Just as in Grays Amatomy tv show it's just no fun watching it any more with out the black guy that was the head line person . Fired for calling some one a fag. Yes it was in bad tast but nothing to get fired for.Hey no problem theres Showtime, HBO and Starzs to watch.
