Britney's back on 'How I Met Your Mother'

Britney Spears got some nice kudos for her March 24 portrayal of a receptionists who has the hots for Josh Radnor's character on the CBS sitcom "How I Met Your Mother."

Now word is that she's going back on the show.

With the ratings for that Britney episode through the roof, it was kind of a no-brainer that Britney would soon be back on. But according to People, Britney is beyond thrilled. And so is everyone on the show -- even actor Neil Patrick Harris who earlier spoke out against the Spears appearance as a stunt-casting ratings ploy and then claimed he was quoted out of context.

“The show is ecstatic and so is Britney,” a source told People. “She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.” Rumor is it's just for one more episode. And no official confirmation from Fox studios yet.

Congrats, Brit. Finally, she's found something she excels at: acting like a sweet, boy-crazy blond.
