Paris talks about new man Benji and finding a new BFF

Paris Hilton showed up Friday night at the launch party of new beau Benji Madden’s DCMA Collective boutique (owned with brother Joel Madden), and the red carpet was abuzz about her sexy rocker-chick look.

Nicole Richie scooted inside after posing for a few photos with her fiance, Joel, and Nicky Hilton. But Paris — wearing a DCMA black tank, hoodie and black jeans with black leather boots — stayed outside to promote her new TV show, I mean, answer a few questions.

Paris announced Friday night that she’s going on tour with the Maddens’ band, Good Charlotte, to South Africa.

And what does she think of Benji’s style and his new clothing line?

“You know, I love his style. Um, I would describe his style as punk couture. He kind of has a cool style. I’ve definitely been rocking a lot of the line, and I love it. I usually I wear floral dresses and things that aren’t as comfortable, but this stuff looks really sexy and it’s comfortable as well. Benji and Joel work with some of the most amazing graffiti artists and just collaborations of making these really cool T-shirts that no one really has, so it’s cool. I love the prints. I really love the use of the brass knuckles and the skulls. It’s, like, very rocker chick.”

What does DCMA stand for?

“It’s where they’re from. Maryland.”

So what’s the future for you and Benji?

“We’ll see ... ” (said, smiling, in a sing-songy voice).

Besides wearing his clothing, how are you supporting Benji?

“Just wearing it.” (Laughs.)

You’re wearing your BM bling/ring tonight.

“Yeah.”

Can you tell me about that?

“It’s just a present.” (Baby voice; giggles.)

Will Benji make an appearance on your new TV show about searching for a new best friend?

“We’ll see.” (Baby voice; giggles.)

Tell us more about the show?

“The show is on MTV and it’s called 'Paris Hilton’s My New Best Friend’ and people can go to ParisBFF.com to upload their videos to try out.”

What are you looking for in your new best friend?

“Someone to just have fun with. Someone I can trust and someone who knows how to have a good time.”

But isn’t Nicole your BFF? Why are you searching for a new best friend?

“Nicole is obviously my best friend since I was a year old so she’ll always remain my best friend. This is more — I mean, I’m going to find a best friend on the show, but it's also going to be a lot of fun to watch. It’s going to be a lot of drama and it’s going to be good TV.”

Hey, does anyone else get the feeling that Paris' “relationship” with Benji is about as real as her faux guru turned out to be?
