Is Courteney Cox stealing Demi's fashion thunder?

Is Courteney Cox stealing Demi Moore's look? Or is it the other way around?

Let's study the evidence: Here, at left, is the "Dirt" star  — in a black trench coat — arriving at the "Late Show With David Letterman." And there's Demi — in a white trench coat — promoting her new movie, "Flawless," on "Good Morning America."

Is it a mode mind-meld, or are trench coats just that popular right now?

As if that sartorial similarity isn't suspicious enough, both actresses wear their long, straight, dark hair center-parted. Both are in their mid-40s (Demi was born in 1962, Courteney in 1964), and both cut their acting teeth on soaps. Courteney was on "As the World Turns," Demi appeared on "General Hospital." And both are seemingly ageless.

Here's the kicker: Both actresses are romantically involved with younger men. Ashton Kutcher was born in 1978. David Arquette was born in 1971.

Odd coincidence, huh?

Maybe Demi should guest star on "Dirt" as Courteney's evil twin sister. That might help the show's ratings more than last season's Jennifer Aniston kiss.
