OK, Britney's clean? But is Dr. Phil certifiable?

Drphilm_mark_13959127_600

Is Dr. Phil crazy?  Or just desperate for ratings?

The TV shrink visited Britney Spears over the weekend in her hospital room at Cedars Sinai UNINVITED! Click HERE! to read the details.

But he told People that he was asked by Britney's family ( you know, the family she's not speaking to) to go see her and evaluate her condition. Apparently, the good doctor's wife is friends with Britney's mom, Lynne Spears. Read his side HERE.

But Britney's dad, Jamie Spears, that's right, her dad, not her sister Jamie Lynn  (OK, what kind of parents name their kid after themselves?) may have asked his family NOT to discuss Britney's problems with Dr. Fullofit. And word is they will not appear on his TV talk show today. But five will get you 10 the doc is gonna talk about what's happening and his visit.

Will all the hoopla make viewers tune in to his public intervention show today? Probably.

Wonder if Britney will TiVo the show? I don't think she knows how. Besides, she's real busy.

The beleaguered singer, who reportedly tested clean for alcohol and/or drugs, snuck outta town Saturday night with Adnan Ghalib, the paparazzo she's been seeing for the past few weeks. According to THIS SITE that broke the news, the two were spotted Sunday morning at the Daily Grill on El Paseo in Palm Desert, where she was reportedly smiling and enjoying a champagne mimosa.

Yikes. Think this guy isn't gonna sell his story "My Time with Britney" to OK! magazine?

Britney's taste in men has gone from merely bad to god-awful.

Comments

What is so sad about this story is that there are thousands, possibly millions of mothers with substance-abuse problems in this country whom no one apparently cares about as much as one "not much of a" singer/dancer. Is this a pathetic statement on America, or is it just me? We should be focusing on more important things. And I'm from California b/t/w....
