Report: Jamie Lynn Spears is preggers!

What is going on in this family? Please tell me this isn't so.

According to TMZ and OK! magazine, Britney's little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, age 16, is pregnant.

She has been dating the father for some time and met him in church. Nice. Click HERE for details.

Apparently, she wants to keep the baby. Oh, that's a great idea!

As for how this may affect her "Zoey 101" TV show, Nickelodeon issued this statement: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

Somebody needs to buy the Spears family a big box of condoms for Christmas. Seriously.

Coming from a mother myself I am worried about what will happen to both of these young women and their children when the world doesn't care about them anymore. It is a definite that others will take their place in the tabloids and these poor young girls will be left with their very difficult reality. My heart goes out to both of them and this difficult road that they continue to create for themselves and their loved ones.
