These are just wild guesses, but it could be either CARRIE (1976) or possibly PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED (1986).

This is National Lampoon's Class Reunion (sometimes called Class Reunion) a 1982 comedy film; a critical and box office flop. directed by Michael Miller and written by John Hughes.
