June 8, 1960 --  Matt Weinstock says, “As the streetcar passed Evergreen cemetery, proofreader Frank Martinez heard a little boy exclaim, ‘Look at all the pretty flowers, mommy! I wish I could get you some like that!’ She replied, with a wise and tender smile, ‘You will, soon enough.’ ”

CONFIDENTIAL TO FULL OF PRIDE: You are full of prunes. Pride has caused more divorces than adultery. Take him back, Abby says.
