"Autograph hunters!" gasped Ronnie. "Hang on!" Placing Jane in his wake, he bent low and charged the mob like a blocking back executing an off-tackle smash. Calmly the crowd opened up and let them through. Not a single autograph book was offered and not a fan gave the slightest sign of recognition.
