Joseph Wiseman, who recently died, is identified as the killer in your Detective Story ad. He played a heavy in other movies [The Silver Chalice, Dr. No] as well; and his range varied from yiddish theater to Shakespearean. PS In Detective Story, don't miss the intense scenes between Kirk Douglas and Eleanor Parker. There is no such thing in movies or TV today. He bristles and explodes, and she fights right back.
