On April 5, 1921, playing at the Alhambra Theater located on Hill Street between 7th and 8th in beautiful downtown Los Angeles:

Sessue Hayakawa in the "The First Born".

Incredible film actor with successful careers in both the silent and sound eras. Played the Japanese POW camp commander in "Bridge on the River Kwai" 36 years in the future in 1957.
