And Harold "Bud" Marshall hopes to regain the use of his legs after being paralyzed when he was shot in the spine during a robbery.

Today we remember Edgar Bergen, but not John Stahl. If the reporter was accurate, Stahl was inept. A good director expresses what is wanted, a poor director just says 'No. Let's do it again."

And Charley is living comfortably at the Smithsonian, despite his profanity -- perhaps because of it.
