Somewhere there's a punk band that just found its name...

Well, it was a presidential election year in 1908. The L.A. TImes, being a good Republican newspaper, knew they had their work cut out convincing (men) voters to support William Howard Taft. If nothing else, scare them with the prospect of "Female Terrorists" seizing power in America.
