The U.S. will apparently increase military spending to fight unemployment--watch for more orders for B-52 bombers! ... Vice President Nixon calls for a tax cut as a cure for the recession rather than increased government spending ... And a bill is introduced in the Legislature to require a college prep curriculum. Under the proposal, every high school student would be required to take at least a year of science, math and English.
