Below, a status report on construction of the Los Angeles Aqueduct ... Los Angeles Railway officials look into what was almost a disastrous crash between two streetcars ... A 5-year-old girl is badly burned when embers set her clothes on fire in the Salt Lake Railroad yards ... A former poolroom at 260 S. Main is taken over by the Bible Institute of Los Angeles ... An attorney is badly beaten by an Arcadia bookmaker ...  On the jump, a rumormonger is spreading gossip that the Great White Fleet will only send a few ships to Los Angeles.
